Draco read through the article. Harry sat next to him, his head resting on Draco's shoulder
"This is bad." Draco commented,
"Really bad." Hermione agreed, her hand wrapped in Ron's.
"But maybe it's a good thing." Blaise suggested, the group of eight stared at him, "Think about it, they'll see this as a sign of weakness, you'll be able to get Sirius back and whoever Kovus is." Harry stiffened at the mention of Kovus, Draco cast a desperate glare at Blaise, who shut his mouth wisely. Dumbledore stood up.
"Today we have a special visitor. The Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge." Harry tensed at hearing this information, Dean, who was holding Seamus's hand, noticed.
"You alright Harry?" Harry nodded, a new light in his eyes. The door opened to reveal the Minister, murmuring spread throughout the hall. Dumbledore called for silence once again,
"He has come to ensure necessary precautions are taken, due to recent events taking place-" Harry had stood, anger clear in his expression.
"Har-" Draco began but said boy cut him off.
"Go ahead and say it Fudge, why are you here?"
"The latest issue of the Daily Profit, could cause danger to strike, I merely wish to ensure the school is protected."
"You mean from finding out what you did to me." Harry snarled, "and know that if you don't return what you've taken from me and fix what you've done, I will not ever fight in this war, I will give you two months. Fix it, or suffer an endless war. Bring back what you've stolen, or face eternal bloodshed, and it will be all your fault." Harry turned away from the minister and walked back to his table, he sensed the man staring at him,
"I hope you do the right thing minister." He sat down at his table and -Draco stared at him in disbelief and Harry saw his eyes filled with pride. The minister turned to leave, but Draco stopped him,
"You know an endless war isn't the only thing he can do to you, right?" Harry smiled smugly, playing with his rings. As heir to five major houses, you would be able to remove him from power. Merlin told him, Harry nodded, and continued to eat as the Minister rushed off in fear. Harry turned to his friends who stared at him in utter disbelief and worry,
"Trust me, it was only to scare him, I wouldn't actually leave innocent people to die." Harry assured, "He just needed to understand how far I would go if it ever came to that."
"It's okay Harry, it's just..." Hermione told him, "It was scary." Suddenly there was a loud crash, a dark mist fell through the ceiling,
"THE WAR HAS BEGUN AGAIN!"
