Liz’s POV

As we walked into the guys hotel lobby, I saw a bunch of ugly shirtless guys walking out from where the pool was.

“I saw you checking them out.” Nick joked.

“Jealous?” I asked.

“Not the slightest bit.” He answered.

“Stop flirting, you two, and hurry up! I’m tired.” Joe complained.

I slapped him.

“What was that for?” He cried.

“For not being funny.” I smiled a cheesy smile and got in the elevator.

“Wow, this is nice.” I stated when we got inside their room.

“Eh.” Joe said.

“So…” Nick started.

“I’ll tell her.” Joe said rolling his eyes, “Mom and Dad finally let him get his own place but first he has to live with me for the summer before he can be trusted alone. So we were wondering if you wanted to live with us.”

“That would be so cool but I have to ask my parents first.” I answered.

“Already taken care of.” Joe smiled.

“Cool!” I said and walked into the bathroom to get dressed.

As soon as I stepped out of the bathroom, Nick made his way over to it.

When he got in there I decided to talk to Joe.

“I’m so stupid!” I whispered.

“What do you mean?” He asked.

“Nick asked me out and I thought he was joking.” I stated.

“You’re right; you are stupid!” He laughed.

“That’s nice.” I rolled my eyes.

“No, I mean, he’s right there in the bathroom and you could just go up to him and tell him you wanna go out with him.” He explained.

“No! Then he’ll think that he was the only thing on my mind and then I’ll seem desperate!” I whined.

“Whatever!” He spat and walked into the bathroom seeing as Nick just stepped out of it.

Should I?

I have two options: tell him or pretend nothing happened and see if he asks me again.

Who am I kidding, he’s not going to ask me again!

“I’m going to get some air.” He said, breaking the silence.

“Joe!!” I whined when he walked out of the bathroom.

“Yes?” He asked.

“What should I do?” I questioned.

“Tell him!” He ordered.

“Fine.” I stated, making my way to the door.

“Good luck!” He smiled.

Nick’s POV

I walked straight to the hotel’s bathroom because I knew they had a white baby grand piano in there that I could just let my feelings out on.

I sat at the bench and just let my fingers go free on the keys.

They just happened to play ‘Just Friends.’

At the end of the song, Liz walked into the room and sat next to me.
