Friday got here in a flash. It was like the Earth skipped past Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Today the jerks were to arive and I couldn't be more pissed.

On the upside, today was my mom's birthday so I couldn't wait to celebrate or give her my gift. I had bought her a woderful looking necklace. On the chain was a heart with tiny dimonds placed in it and one pink stone. I didn't think the dimonds or the stone were real but my mom would appreciate it either way.

I got home from school and found out that the guys should arrive at 4:30 and it was almost 3. I decided to go get some reading materials from the supermarket, down the street.

I picked up a copy of J-14 just to see what was up in the guys' lives.

It was 4:25 by the time I actually left. If I ran I could make it home in time, if it wasn't raining. It was pouring.

I tried my hardest to run, but I hated the way the rain splashed in my face because my feet had stomped on the pavement. I also hated how when you ran, the rain seemed to fall faster and harded, as if you were being pounded by ice pelets.

I was halfway home when my phone rang.

"Hello..." I said into the reciever because I hadn't bothered to check the Caller ID.

"Lizzy!" my friend, Brayson stated into the phone.

"Bray! My lover!" I joked. We may have dated a few years ago but we joke and call each other names like that all the time.

"Hey sexy thang...!" he yelled and I laughed.

"What's up?!" I asked.

"Nothing...just bored. Oh, tell your mom I said 'Happy Birthday'!" He requested.

"Will do." I replied.

"Have fun." He said breaking the silence.

"Tons." I said, my voice full of sarcasm.

"Tell Nick I said 'hey'."

"If I even say hi."

"Why do you hate him so much?-oh sorry got to go my mom wants me to go help her. Talk to you later? Love you Lizzy!"

"Bye, love you Bry!" Then we hung up. By now I was at the street to take my to the park, that led to the hill, that led to my street.

I was about to walk into the street when a horn honked at me.

I whispered to the sky, "Why me man, why me?!" And I walked over to the waiting car.

Joe's POV

"I can't wait to see little Lizzy again!" Kevin yelled as we pulled into our old neighborhood.

"Me niether and I think we get an early visit. Is that her walking?" I asked.

"Yea." Nick stated, voice full of hate.

"Calm down and pull over." I commanded.

"Why?" he asked.

"She's walking home in the rain now pull over or I'll scream 'Nick loves men!' out the window!" I threatened and high-fived Kevin.

"Fine." He said doing that and rolling down the window.

"Liz." He stated as she walked over.

"Ick." She replied.

"Why are you walking in the rain, girlie? Get in the car now!" I commanded. I could get used to bossing everyone around...

"No!" She yelled, flicked Nick's forehead and ran down the street, full speed.
