Liz's POV
I woke up the next morning, shocked.
Last night was...weird.
That shock meant something. I know it. But what?
After breakfast, we all just hung out.
There was something wrong with Nick though, he seemed, deep in thought.
Nick's POV
What was it that I kept thinking last night?
All day I tried to think but I couldn't remember.
Then it popped into my head!
It was about Liz and the text...but what was it?!
Oh yeah, she loves me!
When I figured it out, I did a little haapy dance and everyone just stared at me.
"What? I just figured out what I was trying to remember!" I said putting my hands up infront of me.
"And that would be?" Joe asked.
"Nothing you need to know!" I smirked.
"Do I get to know?" Liz asked.
I thought it over...Should I tell her that I know her secret?
Hmm....
First I have one quick thing to do.
"Maybe..."I stated and grabbed my keys.
"MOM! DAD! I'M GOING OUT, I'LL BE BACK SOON!!" I shouted and just walked through the rain to my car.
One problem. How do I do this?
Liz's POV
"That was weird..." I stated.
"Yeah." Joe agreed, smiling.
"Why you smiling?" I asked.
"'Cuz I know a secret." He answered.
"That secret would be?" I asked, again.
"You'll find out. Soon enough." He patted my shoulder and walked into his room, locking the door. I heard him whisper: "Hey Kevin, guess what?!" then I went downstairs to hang with Frankie.
Joe's POV
"Hey Kevin, guess what?!" I said, when he answered the phone.
"What?!" He asked, confussed.
"I think Nick figured out that Liz loves him, so he just left, probably to go break up with Selena and go out with Liz!" I said, exicted.
"Wait. She loves him?" He asked.
"Where have you been, Kev?" I asked.
"No I knew that, but she admitted it? To you?" He asked.
"She trusts me." I shrugged.
"Well cool. But won't it look bad if he breaks up with Selena and then to go out with Liz?" He asked.
"Way to harsh my mood..." He stated.
"Joe..." He laughed, "You aren't the one getting in a relationship, why are you so happy?"
"'Cuz I've been waiting for this forever!" I yelled.
"Me too. Uh-Oh, got to go. Heading out with Dani. Call Nick and ask him what he's doing and WARN HIM!" Kevin stated and hung up.
Nick's POV
I pulled into Selena's car when Joe called.
"Hello?" I answered, knowing he was going to beg me to know what I remembered.
"Hey, whatcha doing?" He asked.
"Nothing...." I answered.
"No, I'm serious this could be life or death, what are you doing?!" He sounded serious.
"I'm pulling into Selena's to tell her that I don't think our relationship could work..." I answered.
"Then what are you going to do?" He pushed on.
"Go back home, and tell Liz I know HER secret..." I stated.
"Which is?" He inquired.
"Like you don't know!" I phone-shouted.
"I'm legit, dude, what do you think it is?"
"That she may be in love with me." I said.
"And why does that matter?"
"You know perfectly why it matters, Joe!!"
"I know, I just want to hear you say it..." He said.
"It matters because I love her back, happy?!"
"Very! But you can't just break up with Selena and go out with Liz-" He started but I cut him off.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because of the press and you don't want to hurt Selena do you?!"
"No..."
"So here's the plan, break up with Selena like you planned, then come back, then you can ask Liz to prom."
"But how can I get her to go with me? She will still think I'm dating Selena."
"Um...have a fight with Selena to get her to break up with you and then you can tell Liz that and she'll go to prom with you and then you can ask her to be your girlfriend there." He explained.
"Won't she consider it a pity date?" I asked.
"No...She loves you too! She will probably jump for joy when you ask her."
"I think this might work." I said.
"I know it will. Now go! See ya later!" He hung up and I got out of my car.
Once I knocked on the door, Selena opened it.
"Hey, I was waiting for you to come knock, but you were on the phone forever and I just..." Selena said, but I cut her off.
"Want to go for a ride? We need to talk..." I asked.
"Yeah, just let me grab my coat." She said, frowning.
Joe may be confident in the plan, but I'm not so sure it'll work...
