Chapter 5

Jealousy looks cute on you.

After my exciting discovery I decide to go to bed, I can't stop thinking about my kiss with Jack, it was so natural and perfect.

I wake up to a knock on my door, I slowly get up and make my way towards the door. As soon as I open it Todd rushes in and closes the door behind him, I back away from him and sit on my bed but I can tell something's bothering him.

"Okay can I just say something?" He says with a semi loud voice

"Anything" I say smirking up at him

"Okay well fuck it, I'm just gunna say it" he says stalling

I stand up and look his dead in the eyes, we're only inches apart "say it" I say slowly

"Okay, ever since I first saw you I knew you were the one for me, I don't know what it is or why but I don't want to fight this feeling anymore. I tried. I tried so damn hard but you walking around being your perfect self I couldn't just ignore it. I want you Madeline, I want you so damn bad" he's almost yelling at point, it's like he's mad about the situation but I'm not scared of him because I feel that same way.

"Todd... I don-" he quickly cuts me off by grabbing my face and putting his lips on mine, we kiss for a little while until he pushes me onto my bed and lays on top of me connecting his lips on mine once again.

Nothing has ever felt so right... so perfect.

"TODD CALM DOWN" I hear Scott scream waking me up from my dream about Todd, being my nosey self I listen to their argument, they're in the living room.

"CALM DOWN?! What do you mean calm down? Why would you leave that in ur vlog, you made me look like a jealous idiot and now Catherine is pissed at me and if Madeline see's it... oh boy you're dead" Todd exclaims before I hear him go to his room and slam the door.

"Cmon Todd, just say it was a skit! Don't do this to me!" Scott yells but Todd doesn't reply

I hear a knock on the door and I pretend to sleep, the door opens and closes quickly. After that I decide to get up, I walk out into the living and see Scott sitting on the couch with his face in his hands

"Scott?" I squeak with my voice all scratchy from just waking up

"I'm sorry Madeline did I wake you when I checked if you were sleeping" he says raising his face from his palms

"Yeah but it's okay I'm glad you did because I shouldn't sleep in" I laugh to lighten the mood

I know I shouldn't do this to Todd but I have to see in person if he's jealous, I have to.

"Hey I'm Scott would you mind if I had Jack over and we can all have dinner together?" I ask with a smile on my face

"Sure why not!" Scott says with a smile

I hear Todd's room door open behind me and hear him approach I swiftly turn to face him

"That's great that Jack's coming because I just invited Catherine for dinner too" he says smiling at me and Scott

Well played Todd. Well played.
