Great, so apparently every single guy in Watford is unable to spend a week with me and some other old families, in luxury, doing almost nothing, all because they might have to hold my hand.
That leaves me with only one other option, and quite frankly, I'd rather die than ask Simon to come with me to my family reunion. Merlin knows how much of my reputation he'll destroy in one short week.
Unfortunately, my other alternative isn't death... It's marrying one of my father's friends' daughters. That thought turns my stomach more than the prospect of dealing with Simon Snow's mishaps ever could.
I know he'll say yes. He despises me, but he needs money, and I have plenty. Yes, the whole time he'll be suspicious and I'll be hurting, but it's better then marrying some strange girl.
And hey, it's a very slim chance, but it's still possible that I might even be able to get a kiss.
