After a tragic miscarriage, Mikey Way's relationship with his girlfriend starts to crumble. They decide that in order to save their marriage long-term, they should spend some time apart. Leaving Kristin at home, he decides to join Gerard on tour. Gerard could use a hand, anyway. His solo career isn't as successful as My Chemical Romance was.
Pete Wentz is a disaster. Everybody knows that. But nobody knows it better than his band mates. After leaving Meagan, his girlfriend and the mother of his second son, he was explicitly told not to write an album about her and drop it out of nowhere. And what did Pete do? Patrick is so fucking done. Half of their fanbase hates them, and the other half are struggling to think up reasonable excuses for why they don't. They haven't made enough profit to afford a proper tour, but they need to redeem themselves, otherwise all four of their careers will die, all because of Pete Fucking Wentz.
So obviously, they pair up. Fall Out Boy and Gerard Way... It's perfect! Nobody would ever object, except... Well, Pete and Mikey don't have the best history, so things are going to get ugly, fast.
