A Kiss

Before I start this, I want to apologize for being gone sooo long. I accidentally logged out of my account and it took so long to remember the password, but enough about me, I know you want to read the story! Also, this chapter is going to be insane.

Percy POV

I watched as Annabeth was laughing with Piper. Just kinda staring at her.

Why did I feel like this? I'm happy with Rachel...

I snapped out of my daze when my phone started buzzing.

I picked it up and looked at the caller I.D.

Rachel

I answered it.

"Uh, hey Rachel."

"Hey Percy, I was wondering where you where? You promised to help me out at my art sale."

Crap! Rachel was selling her art today! I knew I was forgetting to do something.

"I'm so sorry Rach, I totally forgot but I'm busy today. I meant to tell you sooner" I stood up and grabbed a banana.

"Really Perce?! Again!? You knew that I had this going on!"

"I know Rachel, and I'm really sorry but mom needs me today." I lied.

"Whatever, I'll just have-"

"Okay Rachel! Bye!"

I hung up and hopefully avoided a total disaster.

Jason POV

Percy just screwed himself.

Leo POV

Percy is in so much trouble.

Frank POV

Percy is an idiot.

Hazel POV

Percy is so dumb.

Nico POV

Dumb ass.

Will POV

Really Percy?

Grover  POV

Percy, you may be my best friend, but you are an idiot.

Piper POV

Doesn't Percy know how girls work?

Annabeth POV

Seaweed Brain, you are oblivious.

Percy POV

I turned around with my phone in my hand and saw everybody staring at me.

"What?"

I took a bite out of my banana.

Annabeth POV

I walked over and grabbed Percy's banana out of his hands and took a bite.

"If a girl asks you to help her out with something, you suck up your nervousness and go do it."

Percy looked at me, and then at his hand. "You stole my banana."

I smiled and took another bite.

"What are you gonna do about it?"

Percy smiled evilly and started to walk over slowly, so I started to back up.

"Well, first I'm gonna-" Just then he lunged out at me, trying to grab me, but I moved out of the way and started to run.

"Get back here!" Percy yelled after me.

I weaved my way through the house, avoiding Percy as much as possible.

Then, I ran into the room I was supposed to sleep in.

The thing was, this room didn't have any doors to run out of, just the bed and the couch.

I looked around, panicking. 

"Well, well, well. Looks like I got you cornered." I turned around and Percy was leaning on the door frame.

"Give me back my banana." He put his hand out, waiting for me to put the banana in it.

"No." I said and took another bite.

Percy narrowed his eyes and out of no where, jumped on me, pinning me to the bed and crushing the banana in the process.

"Oh look what you did! You crushed the banana!" Percy said.

"Me! You're the one that jumped on me!" 

He glared at me and then I noticed how close we were.

I could see the hurricane in his eyes, the amount of stress and weariness. But also the laughter and the silliness.

They glowed, like miniature suns.

I just stared at him, wondering what was wrong.

I just couldn't look away.

Percy POV

As I glared at Annabeth, her eyes were looking at me, curious.

I finally saw how close we were.

Her eyes...

They were filled with sadness and grief. Of pain and suffering.

But they still had life.

They glowed and sparkled, beneath the pain, there was love.

I unknowingly got closer to her.

And she leaned in too.

I looked her lips, wanting to kiss her. Then I looked at her eyes again.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me closer. "I smashed the banana in your hair."

I stared at her. I didn't care.

I needed her, and I knew it.

But did she?

Will POV

Percy and Annabeth had been quiet for a while now, so I went looking for them.

After looking around for a while, I walked into Piper's room. 

And saw Percy on top of Annabeth, super close to her.

Kissing distance.

They were  just staring at each other. Percy had one hand propping him up and the other around the back of Annabeth's head.

He also had banana in his hair.

Annabeth had her arms wrapped around Percy's neck.

I was about to call out to them when Percy surged forward and kissed Annabeth.

She kissed back of course.

Then they started to glow, green and gray light mixing together.

Then, just like that, they disappeared.

I stared in horror at Piper.

"Will! Will, what is it!"

"P-Percy and A-Annabeth, they, disappeared. And they were glowing and they kissed and-"

"Will!" Nico said. "Slow do, you're not making any sense."

I took a deep breath.

"Percy and Annabeth were on the bed, and then they started kissing. Then they started glowing and they disappeared."

Everyone looked at me. "You're not serious, are you?"

I looked directly at Frank. "I wouldn't make this up."

Everybody looked at each other and nodded.

"Well." Nico said. "We're screwed."

I love this chapter. Please don't yell at me for what I'm about to do either.
