I opened my eyes on a new day. Today I will be moving to LA. Today is the day that I won't be a citizen of Ohio but a citizen of Los Angeles, California.
"Charlotte! Get down here!" My mother yelled up the stairs for me.
"Coming!" I yelled back as I got out of bed and made my way downstairs.
As I walked downstairs I saw my father walk into the house. It was very rare for him to be around, especially here.
"Hello Dad!" I said, running up to him and giving him a hug.
"Good morning Lottie." He said hugging me back.
Once we let go, we walked to the kitchen and I saw my mother making breakfast.
"Good morning Mom." I said, giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"Good morning lovely."
I sat down at the table and went on my phone and decided to text my brother. I knew that he wouldn't be awake but that's just how nice I am to my siblings.
Charlotte: Hey bro, leaving in an hour. Can't wait to see you! Sorry for waking you up... Not. lol. Miss you.
Jake: I expected you to wake me up but not this early! It's freaking 3 in the morning! Let me sleep!
Jake: Miss you too.
I laughed at his text as my mother placed a plate of pancakes, eggs, and bacon with a glass of milk, my favorite breakfast.
"Thank you Mom." I said, smiling up at her as she handed me the jar of peanut butter.
I spread the peanut butter all over the pancakes before taking a bite.
"Are you packed?" My father asked me.
"Almost, just need to pack my bathroom stuff and then I will be ready to go." I told him.
He nodded, taking a piece of my bacon.
"Hey!" I said, swatting his hand away but he still took it.
He just smiled at me and I rolled my eyes. The breakfast was delicious and we all made small talk, mainly about LA and what I will be doing there. I wasn't too sure who I would be living with yet but I knew that they both didn't want me living on my own so they both offered for me to stay at their places. I loved how caring they both were to their little sister but I wasn't sure about either of the places. I even made a pros and cons list of both houses.
"So who will you be living with?" Mom asked me.
"I'm not sure yet."
"Well I think you should live with Logan, he will keep you on track with your studies and there aren't as many distractions." My father said.
I rolled my eyes when he said "distractions". He was talking about how many people live with Jake. When you think about it, it's actually not that many people. It could be worse and actually be 10 of them.
"But if feel like my career will become more successful at Jake's since there are all those "distractions" around that could promote my channel." I said quote him.
It was his turn to roll his eyes.
"But at Logan's it's quieter and you can get your school work done." My mom was joining in on the conversation.
"But I'm already ahead by like 2 month in school." I told them.
I looked at the time, realizing that I only had 20 minutes get to the airport. I jumped out of my seat and ran up the stairs and into my room, quickly throwing on an outfit and packing the rest of my stuff. I zipped the suitcase up and grabbed my purse while making my way downstairs. My father helped me with my two bags and we made our way to the airport. Once we got there, I kissed my parents on the cheek and we said our goodbyes and then I was on my way. Once I got passed TSA, I went to the correct area I was supposed to be in and sat down and pulled my camera out of my bag.
