"So, do you mind telling the class what all that was about?" Queen Tabitha asked, leaning back in her seat. She stared at me, and I could see the relief in her eyes because I was still alive.

"I see a meeting going on, not a class," I replied, sarcastically as I shifted in my seat. I bit back a smirk when my mate dug his nails into my side, knowing that I was waking up his little buddy.

"Very funny," Tabitha said, dryily. "I am glad that you didn't lose your sense of humor."

I stiffened and looked down, watching as my hands shook. I could still feel the remains of that spell and knew that I was going to feel it for a few days. I really wanted to go until I didn't feel the remains of it, but Fernos had coaxed me that it would be all right to stay. If I hurt someone, however, I did not know what I would do.

"Why did you run?" Vulcan asked. His eyes held betrayal, and I couldn't help but feel more guilty. "You ran from me."

"I ran from you because I knew that you would want to come with me," I replied, not looking at him. I licked my lips and cleared my throat. "If you did, then I was sure that you would have been captured, and I would have been forced to kill you."

"Did you kill someone while you were under their control?" Whisper asked. She leaned back in her seat and stared at me. She didn't trust me, and whatever trust I had gotten from her, I had lost it after this plan.

"Yes," I replied, nodding my head. I hid a wince when Cooper dug his nails into my side and everyone started to scream at each other. Most of them were trying to figure if I should be punished for killing someone in... that state or if I should just get away with it. I bit back a groan of pain as Cooper's nails dug deeper into my skin, and I knew that they would be leaving a scar.

"I would suggest you remove your claws from Rylan, Alpha," Fernos said, speaking for the first time. He kept his eyes on my mate, ignoring everyone's stare. He knew that he wasn't welcomed here, but for whatever reason, he came because he knew that I would need someone to talk. "It's hurting her more than she is letting on."

Cooper let go, causing a small sigh of relief escape my tight lips. He did not say a word, and I couldn't help but wonder why. He had been quiet for a long time, not even speaking when I had went over to him.

"Why did it hurt her?" Liam asked. He glanced at me, and I could see the worry and fear in his eyes. He didn't want to loose me, and I knew that he would have my back at all times. "Is she alright?"

Fernos nodded his head. "The spell that she had used to kill my son weakened her Wolf. That is why you aren't feeling any sparks with her right now." He glanced at my mate and then at me, making sure that it was fine to tell them what had happened.

"The boy," Cooper said, speaking for the first time, "that ran into your arms. That was your son, wasn't it?"

Fernos nodded his head, again. "Yes, that is my son. The reason that he is not dead is because Ry had taken some of my blood and bit into his neck before she "killed" him. Tabitha helped, but... we made sure that she thought it was a dream."

"No wonder it felt so real," Tabitha said, grimacing. "So everything that was said..."

I nodded. "Fernos would have known if the spell didn't work, and I was still... "evil". If it didn't work then what Fernos had told you was the way to kill me and make sure that Grandolf didn't rise or delayed it until my successor was old enough to understand."

"Why didn't you ask us for help?" Gigi asked. She was tired, and I could tell that this had placed a strain on her. It didn't help that she had her child early and was still trying to make sure that he was alright.
