"And then the fucker stole the kill! I was so fucking mad! They stole BlueBlaze's ace! But after that BlueBlaze killed everyone again, so that calmed me and the whole fandom down." Shannon described enthusiastic the stream that she watched last night. Turns out, Shannon is a huge game freak. She really likes esports and even tried to get into an esport team, but her grandfather just died before the week of the interview and she couldn't play at all. Being a huge fan of esports, she has her favorite players, like BlueBlaze and Funky. Even the shirt that she gave me when we first met was a merch, it had the OPS2 team logo on it.

"You sure do like esport." I determined chuckling, to which she affirmed with eager nodding.

"Hella hecka yes! And you know what is the best part?" she asked.

"What?"I replied back with a half smile.

"That OPS2 plays multiple games, like not just MOBA's, but MMORPG's and MFPS's! So I get to watch Funky and BlueBlaze play all kind of different games and even new ones!" she claimed, tho I didn't really see the point of that. I mean the point of why is that so good. Isn't it enough to watch them play a game that they are good at? Tho they must be really good at other games as well. Well whatever, it really isn't my place to judge when I practically know nothing of esports.

"That sounds really interesting!"I tried to say as excited as possible. Listening to Shannon's rant made me want to play.

"I know right! I met Logan thanks to this game the we both are playing and we ar-"Shannon then stopped in mid sentence. "Oh, we are here." she announce and all of my problems that were replaced with the newly came information about the world of esport, suddenly came back. I felt like my stomach dropped from ground level, to the dept of the Mariana Trench.

"Oh." that's all I could say. I examined the house that we stopped in font of. It was a two story house painted in a strict brown with a garage connected to the house. There were three cars parked, two in front on the garage's door and another one by the sidewalk. Seems like someone is over. "Seems like someone's over, I guess it's the best if we left." I state, but before I could drive away Shannon grabbed my hand that was on the gearshift and shook her head.

"Riley, Dani has been acting weirdly in the last couple of days. You are her girlfriend and she's my friend, I'm worried about her."her voice hold concern that dismissed all of my thoughts about escaping. "And about you too." she added.

"Why?"Shannon bit her onto her bottom lip.

"Because you are my best friend, you silly." her statement made my heart feel warm. It's always nice to know that someone likes you so much and that they feel so strongly about you that they dignify your relation with a title as such. "So, are we doing this or what?" she asked humorously. I nodded and took a deep breath, preparing myself. Taking one more look at the house and my surroundings I notice something from the corner of my eyes. It was the White house. No, not the White House from where an idiot is controlling the country, but the house where Alice White lives. They are neighbors? Wow, they never mentioned it. Not...that it...still maters...

"Okay, let's go in." Shannon nodded and we walked to the front door. Shannon pressed the doorbell and we waited, then we waited. We stood there for 5 minutes, but no one came outside. We looked at each other and shook our heads, both of us letting out a sigh. She's not home...but then why are here three cars?! It makes no sense to me. Maybe they went to the nearby store? They went to visit a neighbor? Maybe they were just really tired, went to sleep and locked the doors? AGH! Whatever, we are out of here! Just as we were heading back to my car we heard a loud bang on the window, not far from the front door. Me and Shannon stopped in our track and listened closely. Then we heard it again and we rushed to the window. We peeked over by the edge of the window, trying not to be spotted my the people inside. The room was lit and the curtains weren't closed so we could see inside without a problem. But I wish we didn't. My heart ached, my body froze, my eyes burned, my mouth went dry. Shannon gasped under her breath, looked at me, then back to the scene before us. She couldn't believe it either. I wanted to look away so badly, but I just couldn't. I was sad, angry, betrayed and betraying. The sudden touch on my shoulder made me jump, but Shannon's sad smile calmed me down.
