What the fuck is going on?!

"Good morning,Riley!"Shannon greeted me as I arrived to my locker. How can you be so energetic in the morning?!

"Morning."I yawned and opened my locker to put my skateboard away.

"You look even more tired than usual."she said with a hint of amusement in her voice. Her eyes shifted a bit and manages to take a look at my new board. "You skate?"I nodded,too tired to form words. "That's soo cool! I've always wanted to learn how to skate but I have a terrible sense balance."she said cheekily.

"But you are on four wheels."I told her confused. I never had a problem with balance. I learned to ride a bike fairly quickly. After that learning how to skate was as easy as learning that 2+2=4. Shannon just shook her head.

"Not everyone can have cat balance and reflexes."she scolded me and I just grinned at her tiredly. "Wait,you are basically a cat!"Shannon added as I was stretching and yawning. As she said that I felt a bit embarrassed because she might be right. 

"That's not true..."I mumbled even tho I knew I was lying. I'm pretty sure Shannon knew as well.

"Oh,please! You love sleeping,love causing others headache and you can't live without fish!"

"Okay,you are right. I am a cat! Are you happy now?!"I asked her flushed. When I call myself something,like crazy or a cool lesbian it's okay. But when someone else does it's just not good for me...it makes me blush,which I really hate to do. Shannon nodded with a shit eating grinn on her face. 

"I love you Shannon,but I want to punch you so hard right now."I glared at her and she froze. Her face became red and fixed her eyes on the trash bin near us.

"R-R-Riley, you I know that I have a b-boyfriend!"she suddenly exclaimed and I only now understood what I just said to her. I couldn't help but laugh at her expression.

"No homo tho."Shannon let out a relived sigh and finally looked in my eyes. "I never imagines that I would ever say that."Shannon laughed at my comment. When our laughing quite down she started to look around,searching for something or someone.

"Where's Dani tho? I didn't see her yesterday. Is she mad at us or something?" You guessed it for the first try! Good job,Shannon! I scratched my neck,something that I always do when I'm nervous.

"More like she's mad at me. She has nothing against you,I'm pretty sure about that." I said to her sheepishly. Shannon raised a brow and shook her head.

"Come on Riley! We are talking about Dani! That girl is as saint as a nun or as Virgin Mary. She's not that kind of person to avoid someone so suddenly!"she laughed,but stopped when she saw me frowning. After clearing her throat she spoke again. "So you're saying that she's mad at you and she's avoiding you?" I nodded and Shannon hummed in response. "I just can't imagine Dani being like that. What have you done?" My face turned to a different,deeper shade of red. I was to embarrassed to tell her. What if she will be disgusted by me? Tho she stood up for me a couple of weeks ago... Then again me suddenly confessing to Dani could destroy our little circle of friends. For me being in this little circle means a lot. Loosing them would definitely hurt like hell. Shannon sighed and made me realize that I still didn't answer her. I get lost in my own sea of thoughts too easily.
"Well then you leave me no choice but to guess what on Earth could you have done to make Dani this mad at you."she brought up her left hand to he chin and hugged her upper body with her other arm. She was doing her thinking face. I still can't tell if this is how she really thinks like or if this is some sort of joke. "Hmm...Did you confess to her and now she's avoiding you. That kills you inside because she doesn't even give you a proper answer."I was speechless. My face got warmer and I hung my head low,so she couldn't really see my face.
