You had been dating Kade for three months and he openly admitted that he had a daughter. The mother had left when she was a few weeks old and now she was four. Kade had invited you over to his place to come and meet her. To say you were nervous was a lie, you got along with kids. However, you did have slight butterflies on whether she'd like you or not.

"Let's do this." You whispered to yourself, walking up to the front door. You knocked it and Kade almost instantly answered.

"Hi babe." He smiled greeting you with a kiss.

"Where is she?" You asked taking your shoes off. He pointed to the living room and you walked over.

"Elsie." Kade called her, she looked up from her drawing, and witnessed you.

"Is this Y/N daddy?" She asked walking over, he nodded and you bent down so she could get a clearer view of you.

"You're so pretty." She smiled, twirling your hair with her chubby fingers. Kade's heart fluttered. He had brought other dates home and Elsie was never keen on them, this was the first time she had properly come near another women other then her grandma.

"Well Elsie, I think you're beautiful." You flashed her a smile as she blushed a little.

"You make my daddy really happy, he always talks about you." Elsie admitted, you looked up at Kade as he playfully glared at his daughter who had just told you his secret.

"I hope it's all good things." You went and sat on the couch and she did the same.

"It is, can I ask you something Y/N?" She asked looking up at you, you nodded happily.

"Can you have a sleepover?" She said hopefully, you looked over at Kade who put his thumbs up.

"Of course sweetie, but no sleepover is good without being in our PJ's, why don't you get changed and I'll grab popcorn?" You asked, she squealed happily, wrapping her little arms around you.

"Thank-you Y/N!" She ran up the stairs. Kade walked over to you and kissed you again.

"I've never seen her so excited, I'm glad I found you." He told you.

"I wouldn't change it for the world."
