14: Secret

"Please Storm. Please?" I pleaded.

I held on his arms and wriggle it in a not so gentle way. He stared at me for 2 seconds then shook his head for a no.

"Just this once please? I swear I'll be good to you. Say for one week?" I said with a pout.

He bit his lip, trying to suppress a smile. I know I'm getting near in convincing him. And I can't wait for that to happen. I really want to see Gavin na. It has been 3 days since the last time I saw him. And God knows how much I miss him.

How much I crave for his touch and his warmth. I want to be embraced by him and do a lot more things with him.

Ghaad, I really miss Gavin.

I pushed my lower lip out and batted my eyelashes in a cute way.

"Please?" I said with my puppy eyes.

Tumawa siya at umiling ulit. Marahan niyang inalis ang kapit ko sa arms niya. He took, maybe 4 steps backward, and said. "Hindi pwede Karina. Gavin will kill me for sure. I'm here to guard you and keep you company. Pero hindi ang samahan ka paalis sa lugar na to. Not without Gavin's permission." Nanghihinayang niyang sabi. May pailing iling pa siya na parang sigurado na siya sa decision niya.

My eyes watered, my muscle in the face tensed up, but I held it in. I looked away from his gaze and bit my lip. I don't want to cry. At least not without Gavin here beside me to comfort me and give me a very homey hug.

"He won't kill you. Gavin will never do that. Besides you're one of his friends. And if ever man na magalit si Gavin, I swear ipagtatanggol kita. I'll take the blame just please let me see him. I terribly miss Gavin na. Please Storm?" I plead again. Losing all the hopes I have gathered earlier.

"I'm sorry. But it's much safer here Karina. He ordered me to guard you here, at yun ang gagawin ko." He firmly said.

Umupo ako sa sopa, trying to avoid Storm's eyes. I felt disappointed. I actually waited for him to come because out of all Gavin's friends, sa kanya ako pinakaclose. He always bully me though, and I do too.

I heard him sigh but I didn't turn to look at him. "Karina Please. Don't do this."

I sniff. Still trying to stop my tears from falling.

"Damn. Sige na. Sige na. Suko na ako. We'll visit him."

I excitedly stood up and look at him. My eyes hopeful from what he said.

Sigh......... That's what I thought, until he got a call and left me here alone. And that was like yesterday, which means it has been 4 days since I last saw Gavin.

I sigh. I really want to touch him. Hug him maybe and if I got lucky kiss him.

Haaaay, I miss him.

Nanghihinang pinadausdos ko ang isang braso sa table at nilagay ang pisngi ko dun.

I stared at the calling card I have in my hand. I found this one in my tightly closed hand earlier when I woke up.
