Dahyun kept running until she found herself at an abandoned place. She had kept her head down all the way so she had no idea where she was. Still hungry, she looked around and realised that she was completely lost. This seemed to be a new world to her.
Soon, her legs went weak from being too hungry and the next moment she was on the floor. She laid on the cold ground, trying to sleep her hunger away. Footsteps could then be heard. Dahyun turned towards the sound of the footsteps and she saw a pair of pink sneakers beside her. She slowly looked up and almost choked at who she saw.
"Dahyun? Is that you?"
With all the energy left in her, Dahyun managed to stand up and with the help of the girl, she could at least sit on the ground while leaning against a bare tree.
"What are you doing here, Dahyun?" The girl asked when she settled herself next to Dahyun.
"What are you doing here, Sulli?" Dahyun asked weakly.
"You don't seem to look well, Dahyun," Sulli said, and took a good look at Dahyun.
"I'm...really hungry," Dahyun told her, and closed her eyes.
Soon, she could smell the scent of fresh blood and immediately opened her eyes. She almost fainted when she realised what was happening.
Blood. Blood. It was dripping.
Dahyun slapped the blade out of Sulli's hand and held her hands tightly. "What do you think you were doing, Sulli?" She scolded, tears forming at her eyes.
Tears could be seen at Sulli's eyes as well. "I was trying to help you, Dahyun. This is the most I could do. Don't worry, it won't hurt, I do this all the time," she said with a smile.
Dahyun stared at her. "You had been hurting yourself all this time?" Dahyun asked, as her tears fell.
Sulli wiped Dahyun's tears off with her fingers, then put her bleeding wrist in front of her. "Come on, if you don't drink this now, it'll dry up soon," she said, trying to sound cheerful.
Dahyun gave a laugh as she smiled gratefully, before she proceeded to drink all the blood she could that was flowing out of Sulli's wound. When she was done, she could feel her energy getting restored.
"Thanks, Sulli," Dahyun said, wiping her mouth with her hand. "But why are you being so nice to me?"
"Well, nobody had ever come here before. Apart from me, of course. I've always been under a lot of pressure, due to some family problems, so I come here because I feel relaxed when I'm here," Sulli said, staring at a distance. "Until today, you came. I was surprised to see someone here, and what's more, the person's someone I know so well. And I guess I'm really happy that I'll be having a company today."
"Can you keep this a secret, Sulli?" Dahyun asked, looking at Sulli, who smiled.
"Of course, Dahyun," Sulli said. "But have you told Yeri about this though?"
Dahyun shook her head. "That girl would freak out. She's already terrified from the deaths recently, so I don't think she could handle this," she explained, sighing.
"Don't worry then, I won't tell a single soul," Sulli reassured her, and patted her back.
"Thanks for saving me today. And please stop hurting yourself, talk to me if you need to."

"Dahyun-ah! You should have called me if you were going to hangout with your friend!" Irene scolded.
Dahyun's back home. With the help of Sulli, she could find her way back to the city. All she could think of was what Sulli had done for her. It was so touching.
"Next time, if you go off missing again, I'll set a curfew for you!" Irene shouted, then stormed back to her room and slammed the door.
She's not mad though, as Dahyun know. She's just worried about Dahyun, because she cherished Dahyun as though Dahyun was her biological daughter.
Back in her bedroom, Dahyun stared at her reflection. She had just taken her lenses off, and her eyes finally felt free. She stared at her silver jewellery collection. It was such a waste, as they were all really pretty. Perhaps she could give them all to Irene, but what excuse would she come up with? Would Irene still love her as much when she finds out that her goddaughter had turned into a vampire?
--------------------------------------------
Special summary:
Dahyun found an excuse to keep her mask on in school, and is now able to move around freely without the urge to drink her classmates' blood.
However, after skipping lunch time at school one day, she left the building feeling hungry. This led to her almost biting a random girl's neck for blood, but luckily, she managed to snap out of it. She then ran off, and reached an abandoned place. There, she met Sulli, and with Sulli's help, she managed to get some food and replenished her energy. The two then became good friends.
Upon reaching home, Dahyun was scolded by Irene, who was worried about her being home late. Staring at her own reflection in the mirror, she wondered if Irene would still love her as much when she finds out that her goddaughter had turned into a vampire.
