I quickly wash my face before getting in the shower.
By the time I head back into my room, Jess is asleep. I shake my head, then proceed to get dressed and apply some makeup.
I begin putting on a black-and-white striped shirt with skinny jeans, and then add an olive green jacket. I then proceed to put my hair up in a half up-half down look, creating a volumized bun before finishing my makeup.
"Jess, wake up. I'm ready." She yawns, stretching out and I shake my head a little.
"Coming." I begin heading downstairs, hearing Jess scamper behind, and grab my purse, keys, and slip my sandles on.
"Ready for this?" I ask her, both of us sighing a bit.
"I don't know yet. Ask me when we get there."
"Me too." I smile.
Nash's POV
I grab another glass bottle, popping the cap off and perssuing to take a few gulps of the bitter liquid.
A knock on the door interrupts me from taking another sip, setting the bottle on the counter and proceed to open my house door.
"Hello?" I groan squinting my eyes a bit, nearly stumbling as I open the door.
Hayes' brows furrow, his eyes captivating disbelief and confusion.
"Are you drunk?"
"No." I reply quickly, and I can feel the tension between us.
"Really? That's weird because I swear I smell alcohol under your breath." He walks past me, proceeding to the kitchen and notices the cold bottle of Budlight sitting on the counter.
"I told you Nash, You can't drink your problems away. You have to stop this." My heart thumps and I feel like nothing more than punching him.
"Shutup." I say plainly and rub my eyes
to regain proper vision. I'm in no way of a mood to be arguing with this kid who's two years younger than me.
"Gabby's wrong. You're still a coward." He spats, my blood boiling like a pan of water on the verge of overflowing.
"Get out." I demand through gritted teeth.
"It always has to be about you and getting your way." He says before leaving and I lock it behind him before proceeding to the counter to finish my bottled beer.
I grab another from the fridge, holding the half-empty bottle in my free hand and plant myself down on the couch.
Pieces of her...Gabby, flash through my mind as I try to eventually reevaluate everything from the past few years ago.
My heart clenches tightly, and I quickly take a few more gulps of my near-empty beer.
I clode my eyes, laying my head back and propping my feet...slowly drifting to sleep.

Gabby's POV
To say Greensboro University had a few students...was a complete UNDERSTATEMENT.
Students scampered through the vestibules of the large, two-story campus.
I sighed as I looked at my course schedule, looking back and forth at the schedule and room numbers.
I take an even deeper breath as I struggle, my straining eyes looking at the number painted on plaques lined against the wall.
Finally, I stand to the side and pull out the campus map.
Okay today is Monday and I only have two classes today.
English Literature. Mr. Atkins. Room B98.
Algebra 3. Ms. Henderson. Room A116.
"Hate math." I mumbled under my breath.
"Me too." I'm startled a bit, not recognizing the semi-low voice and I look up at him.
His tall stature almost engulfs me, with perfectly straight white teeth, dark hair sweeped back and his eyes carry a breathtaking shade of green-hazel.
Holy crap...
"Glad I'm not the only one." I casually play it off and both of us laugh.
"I'm assuming you need a little direction?" He smiles and I look back at my schedule and sigh.
"Sadly...Yes." I pause for a moment, and he leans over slightly to grab my schedule.
"Usually I'm good at this but, I'm so confused with this campus ." I explain.
"It's okay. We all have these problems when we're freshman." We both proceed down the hallway, continuing to cpnversate as heguides me to the right room.
"Well, for a freshman, you sure look like you know your way around." I can't help but laugh a little, and he smiles again.
"Well I've come here a lot for college tours, explored the campus a few times and eventually figured it out."
"Smart." I nod my head a little.
"Okay, so what's your schedule all together?" I hand my schedule to him and he skims over my classes.
"Well, we have classes together on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I'm assuming you're a bit of a nerd?" He jokes.
"Excuse me?" I laugh a bit intimated for a moment.
"I'm kidding. I'm majoring in English Lit too. And a Creative Writing minor." He leads me around another corner, and pushes a door open to the left, revealing one downward and one upward staircase.
"English Lit is on the next floor up." He informs me and we begin upstairs.
So far, College...not a bad idea at all.
