(One year later, Halloween of Kayla's SENIOR year. She just came back from visiting Jose and Sarafina)
Kayla walked up to the door of Thomas's house and knocked on the door. A short little girl answered. "Hi is there anyone name Thomas here?" Kayla asked. The girl nodded. "Thomas!" she shouted while running up the stairs.
Thomas ran down the stairs. "What is it Maya!" The little girl pointed to Kayla and Thomas turned his head and smiled. "Kayla!" I thought you weren't coming back until tomorrow !" He ran towards her.
"I lied because I wanted to surprise you!" she said while they hugged. He stepped outside onto the porch and shut the door. Kayla I was gonna ask you at the airport when you got back but Now is just as good as ever. He got down on one knee and took something out of pocket.
"Kayla will you marry me?"
