👑 Chapter 5 - Gut Feelings

The next day I was able to see if I could see Lisa.

Since Inna was called to fix something with her vocals in the ÆLONIA, I had asked CC and Tiffany to accompany me to talk to Lisa.

"Sounds like a scary dream," CC spoke.

"Yeah," I sighed. "Only one that can answer any questions I have is Lisa. She was pretty vague when I asked her about her sister."

"Well, let's hope she tells you something," CC said.

"Yeah, me too," I said.

"But why so focused on this? If I may ask," Tiffany asked.

I sighed. "Something just doesn't seem right.... Its this feeling I have at the pit of my stomach that something is really wrong."

"So, you just have a gut feeling about her keeping some secret?" she asked.

I sighed and nodded. "Crazy, but its how I feel."

CC frowned. "Then let's just hope its nothing serious..."

We soon arrived to the store and walked in, looking through the registers until we saw Lisa working register at Customer Service.

By the looks of it, she had just clocked out on break and was leaving.

I walked over as she was headed to the door that said Employees Only.

"Lisa," I said, and she stopped, nervously turning around.

"J-Jake?" she said.

"Can we talk?" I asked.

She hesitated, looking back at the door.

"I'll buy your lunch, but its important," I said.

She still hesitated, but then sighed and hung her head, as if she were defeated. "Okay."

Lisa sat nervously at her seat as we sat across from her, food on the table that I asked CC to buy for us (of course I paid).

I told her the dream, but she didn't say anything.

"Lisa.... Its just me.... Jake," I said, trying to calm her down.

She gulped nervously and looked up at me, eyes glassy as if she were about to cry.

"I need you to tell me what happened to Emma," I said. "From what I saw in that dream, something really bad happened."

She gulped as tears streamed down her face and she suddenly burst into sobs, leading to Tiffany rushing to her side to comfort her.

CC and I looked in shock as she then mumbled something incoherently.

"What?" I asked as she sniffled and wiped her tears, then said what I feared the most.

"Emma's dead."

Sorry this is short. Been so stressed and busy lately with college, and *FOR SOME REASON* some high school drama came back and I had to try and deal with that, which just ended up stressing me out more than it should have.

I'll try and make the next chapter a bit longer.

Also, and I'm sorry for bringing this up but its starting to kind of become a bit of a peeve to me, but am I the only one finding it REALLY stupid that Andy Biersack is gonna lip sync in "American Satan" using Remington Leith's (Palaye Royale) voice just because of some "voice issues" or something like that, and STILL be the star of the show????

If it were up to me, I swear, I'd just replace Andy with Remington. 😒
