~~~Thalia Pov~~~
As we all went upstairs the girls went into one room and the boys into the other. I have to say I was impressed with our room. It was a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. It had white walls and wood floors, but there were 4 beds, 4 dressers, 4 everything. Each one had a different color bedding. They were gray, pink, gold, and silver corresponding to each of our their parents and mine to Artemis.
"Wow," Annabeth said.
"Wow indeed," Piper agreed. Hazel and I just nodded.
"This is incredible," Annabeth said as she walked over to her bed and set her stuff down. Hazel, Piper and I all did the same.
After we all had settled in, meaning put our stuff on our beds and made sure there were no spiders, we went over to the boy's room. Their room was basically the same, but it was a bit bigger and there were 6 of everything instead of 4. There was a sea green bed, a red one, an orange one, an electric blue one, a black one, and a yellow one. Each of the boys was putting their things down and once they were finished we all went downstairs where Tom, the bartender, served us all chicken fingers. Piper asked for and got a salad instead. When we had all finished eating Tom told us to follow him and he led us all to a brick wall.
"Why are you leading us to a brick wall?" Leo asked curiously. In answer to his question Tom pulled out his wand and tapped one of the bricks. To our amazement, the bricks folded back and opened to reveal a busy street.
"Welcome to Diagon Alley," Tom said spreading his arms in a grand gesture, "this is where I leave you, have fun."
We walked out onto the busy street and Annabeth immediately started telling Frank, since he is the only one without Dyslexia, to read names of stores aloud. He did and Annabeth stopped him when he said Ollivanders.
"That's the wand shop," Annabeth said, "we should start there."
So we went to get wands. When we walked in we saw a young man (A/N the new owner of Ollivanders) who looked to be about 25. He took one look at us and walked off. He came back after some time with 10 different wands. He asked Percy to come forward first.
"This wand is 14 inches English Oak wood, pegasus hair core," the man said as Percy gave it a wave and water came out the end.
"Next," Annabeth stepped forward, "This wand is 12 inches Pear wood, owl feather core."
"Next," Leo stepped forward, "This wand is 11 inches walnut wood, celestial bronze core."
"Next," Nico stepped forward, "This wand is 10 ½ inches ebony wood, aged bone core."
"Next," Frank stepped forward, "This wand is 13 ¾ inches fir wood, bear hair core."
"Next," Will stepped forward, "This wand is 12 ½ inches willow wood, bow string core."
"Next," Piper stepped forward, "This wand is 9 ½ inches aspen wood, dove feather core."
"Next," Hazel stepped forward, "This wand is 9 inches ash wood, gold core."
"Next," Jason stepped forward, "This wand is 15 inches blackthorn wood, eagle feather core."
Finally, it was my turn, "Next," I stepped up and he handed me a wand, "This wand is 13 ¼ inches, pine wood, wolf hair core." I took the wand and waved it. Suddenly a moonbeam came out of the tip and thunder sounded outside. "Perfect match. That will be 1 gallon each." Annabeth gave him the 10 gallons and we went back outside.
"What's this place called again?" Will ask.
"It's diagonal," Leo replied.
"No, repair boy," I corrected him laughing, "it's Diagon Alley."
"Same difference."
"Where to next?" Nico asked.
"I was thinking we get everything, pets last and books right before that, and then head back and get some rest. What do you all think?"
"Good plan," I agreed, "let's go book shopping."
