(authors note: i feel like i have to clarify that the first guy you read about is not dylan! sorry for the confusion but a lot of people seem to think that:-)

your husband sighed behind you, you turned to face him, hurt pulsing through your body, "how could you do this?"

"i'm sorry, babe, she was just there and you weren't." he shrugged, you couldn't believe you'd married this man, your daughter was upstairs so you had to keep your voices low.

"she was just there?" you spat, "how many times have you done this?"

the man in front of you stared at you blankly, as if none of this bothered him, "a few times, maybe more, i don't keep track."

you shook your head, disbelieving what you were hearing, "you've done this to me more than once?!" you whisper-yelled.

"there's just no spark between us, y/n." he said blankly.

you felt your skin crawl at the thought of the fact that you'd slept in the same bed as him even after he'd slept with others, "i just can't believe you'd do this!" your voice rose in anger, for once you'd didn't care about the hurt you were feeling but you hated that he'd done this to your family.

the man stood in front of you stayed quiet as he heard the footsteps of a small child come downstairs, your daughter appeared in the doorway of the kitchen and stared at you both, "why are you shouting? have i done something wrong?"

you held back the tears that were forming in your eyes, you walked over to her and crouched down, "no, sweetie, it's not your fault... none of it is your fault, please go back upstairs, okay? i'll be there in a minute." you smiled as you watched her run upstairs as you turned back to the man that disgusted you.

"i want you out of this house right now." you crossed your arms and stared at him, he clenched his jaw.

"no." he said, glaring down at you.

"no?" you asked, "i don't want you in the same house as my daughter, i can't believe that i hadn't noticed sooner."

"our daughter." he muttered.

"i want you out of this house right now." you took a deep breath, trying to control your anger.

he took a step closer to you and shook his head, "no, this is my house, you leave."

"you're the one who cheated!" you yelled, you raised your hand to slap him but he grabbed your wrist tightly, "let me go."

he laughed under his breath, "this is my house, my names on the contract, either you leave or i throw you out, your choice." he growled.

you flinched back as he let go of your wrist, you immediately ran upstairs and grabbed a suitcase and shoved all of your belongings inside, clothes, photographs, etc. you filled another suitcase with your daughters belongings and you went into her room after wiping the tears that had escaped and rolled down your cheeks, "come on alli, we're going somewhere, okay?"

"what about daddy?" she asked quietly, looking at the suitcases behind you.

you bit back what you were about to say about him and sighed, "daddy can't come, he has work." you smiled slightly before taking the suitcases downstairs as your daughter followed you outside. the taxi you'd called was waiting for you as you passed him the suitcases, "take us to the nearest hotel, please."

"sure, ma'am." the taxi driver nodded as he placed the suitcases into the trunk of his car and closed it, you opened the car door for your daughter and she jumped inside, looking back to see her dad standing in the doorway. she waved and he waved back emotionlessly as you closed the door behind you, not looking back.
