I couldn't help but grin, my body feeling warm knowing that he had been jealous.

"Julianna?" Shawn interrupted my thoughts, turning to glance at me.

"Hm?"

"What's your biggest fear?" He asked, his gaze now back on the road.

"Um," I paused, thinking for a moment before I spoke again. "Being completely alone. Not like, not having a lover or no friends all that. Like, it just being me. Say everyone were to disappear from earth; wouldn't that be terrifying? To know everyone's gone and it's only you? No one to talk to, no one to interact with. It's really freaky."

"Damn, and I was going to say sharks." Shawn shook his head, blowing air out from between his lips.

I could help but laugh, leaning over and hitting his shoulder playfully. "Shut up. They're scary. Big teeth and all."

He laughed too, pulling into his driveway before cursing beneath his breath.

"Fuck, isn't that your friend's house?"

I glanced over my shoulder, looking out the back window to see Sasha's house, full of people inside and crowded on the lawn, which made my stomach drop.

"Shit. Okay. Um, it's dark, do you think they'll realize it's me?" I asked, referring to the group of people on her grass.

"Here," He pulled his jacket off, leaving him in his dress shirt, before handing it to me. "It'll be big on you and hide your dress. Just don't look back. They'll never even realize it's you, and I doubt they know it's me."

I nodded nervously, pulling his jacket on before tying my hair into a bun, holding onto the handle to open the door. "Hurry, c'mon."

We quickly opened out doors, moving out of the car as I walked as fast as I could towards Shawn's front door, keeping my head down and my back to Sasha's house.

"We made it, we're fine." He teased, reaching for his keys to unlock the front door, right as a loud male voice called out.

"Hey Mendes! Nice car!"

"Keep looking ahead. Here, use this key and open the door." He handed me the key, turning around to wave.

I quickly unlocked the door, grabbing Shawn's hand and pulling him inside before slamming it shut, locking it behind us with a small grunt.

"Christ, Julianna," He laughed, shaking his head before grabbing my waist and pulling my body into his own.

My lips found his, our kiss slow and passionate, but only lasting a few moments before he pulled back from me.

"Bed. Now."

I was quickly picked up and thrown over Shawn's shoulder, making me squeal out in shock before kicking my legs. "I can walk!"

"I know, but now I've got this," He smacked my ass, humming as he carried me up the stairs. "right in my face."

I shrieked softly, wiggling around with a laugh before he finally threw me down on his bed.
