"Martin's mother was sick, the only way for her to survive was that she travels abroad" she stopped for a while "the problem was that nobody had enough money not even the commissioner, the only one who had the money was Schwann, but he refused to give Martin any money"

Rick was listening very carefully.

"What happened to the mother?"

"She didn't need the operation any longer"

Rick smiled "She was cured"

She stared at him "She died"

His smile faded and silence filled the room for a while.

Rick decided to break the silence "How old was he?"

"When his father went to prison 10 when he died 12 when his mother died 17"

"He was surrounded by hatred and lost, how did he become an idealist?"

"The commissioner"

"What does he have to do with this?"

"He raised him" She paused "after his father death, he felt sorry for the family, so he decided to help them financially and emotionally"

He gave a sad smile "He did a good job"

Silence came back again; she stood up and went to the couch.

"Where are you going?"

She yawned, "I had a hard day and I need to sleep"

"You don't think that I will leave you to sleep on the couch," He said going to her.

"Well I am not going to kick you out of your bed"

"Go to the bed"

"No, you are sleeping in your bed I will sleep on the couch"

"No, you won't"

"Yes, I will"

"Fine, remember you made me do this"

Suddenly he carried her as if she weighed a kilo and went to the bed.

"Let me down" she was screaming hitting his back but she was nothing compared to him.

He throws her on the bed.

"There," he said "Good night and sweet dreams" he smiled and left her.

She was blushing again.

"What's happening to me, "she thought, "It's the second time that I blush today, am I sick?"

She decided to prove how strong she is. She stood up, carried one of the two blankets on the bed and went to the sofa.

Rick was lying on the couch with his eyes closed. Suddenly he felt something being thrown at his face.

"What the...?"

"There," she said copying his smile "Good night and sweet dreams"

She left him sitting confused, he looked at the blanket and smiled.

Mr. Walker was a seventy year old man with a bald head and the sweetest smile in the universe. He woke up in the middle of the night. He was very thirsty so he went to the kitchen to drink a cup of water. He decided to go and check on his son but he found him sitting on a stair staring at a picture.

"So, she didn't come home yet," Mr. Walker said going to his son. James Walker or as everyone calls him Commissioner Walker was a grey haired man of about fifty year old.

"When things like that happen, I really wish that Helen is still alive to help me"

"So you only wish her alive when you have problems with your daughter"

He looked at his father angrily "Don't you ever joke about Helen again"

"First, I am your father you can't command me, commissioner, second" He sat next to him staring at his son's face "I never heard you saying that you miss her unless you have a problem with Serena"

"That's the difference between us dad," he said staring at the picture.

"When mom died you didn't miss a chance to mention her and cry and make me cry but I am not like you I like to keep my feelings to myself, I like hiding it for myself"

"You think that this's right," Mr. Walker said "James, Serena isn't sure that you love her, she used to come to me and ask me if you love her, You broke her"

He took a deep breath and then continued "she doesn't care about anything anymore James she stores all of her emotions inside her until she explodes all of a sudden"

"Explode?"

"You didn't notice that today you fought over a stupid thing! You really think that she fought with you over that" he raised an eyebrow "she fought with you because she couldn't hold all of the emotions inside her heart, she waits and waits and then explodes at the stupidest thing, you know who she reminds me of?"

"Don't" he stared at his father's eyes.

"Please, not today"

"James she needs to know, he needs to know, people need to know, you are hurting everyone"

"Not today, dad," he said and then stood up and went to his room.

Mr. Walker took the photo and looked at it, it was a photo of Commissioner Walker, Serena, her mother Helen, him and a baby. He sighed and went to his room disappointed of his son.
