Don't Judge a Book by...the Nerd!!! Letters to Letters 39 (Real 1)

"Can you repeat that?"

But, his time he wrapped his strong arms around me- argh...here I go again. He leaned closer so that his lips brush against my neck then, he whispered in my ears

"If I get what my heart desires would you eat it with me, beautiful?"

I sighed softly and thinking 2 can play this game. I brushed my lips lightly against his neck and I whispered softly in his ear

"Yes."

Boy, did I felt his shuddered, I had to mentally chuckle at that. I simply figured out that I escaped his now, loosely arms and walk over to the table with my friends who was watching the whole thing. When, I sat down I couldn't help myself but to glance over my shoulder to see him still standing there. I flashed him a smile when, he looked at me. I quickly noticed the blush on his cheeks. He quickly turned away and he made his way to McDonald's with his bag. I smiled softly when, I turned back around. Just to see my 2 best friends, smirking at me. I can quickly feel the tables turning when it came to whose blushing. Asia said loudly and I'm pretty sure that Bruce or anyone can hear what she is about to say

"DAMN!! Way to play it girl. But, I would have did more...did you guys kissed yet?"

I can feel my cheeks burning once again. I shook my head and she did something I don't see coming. She smacked me in the back of my head, I gasped loudly and handled my head for a second before giving her a glare. She said with an evil look

"Why not? I mean he is a fine piece of whit-"

Bruce said while sitting down

"What were we talking about?"

Asia sighed and said while looking at everyone at the tables including her and Amy's boyfriend

"Who wants to get wasted at the party?"

I raised my hand without even thinking but, I may seen cool and calm in the outside but, inside I was depressed and angry more than anything right now. Bruce said shocked

"You drink, Gwen?"

I sighed and said while grabbing a fry from his tray

"Yeah, not like a drinky...It just makes me feel...fr-"

Asia said

"Freaky, right. I know you can ask my boo-"

I smacked her in the back of the head for payment for earlier and she gasped and glared hard at me, I just smiled innocently and said

"No, I feel more free."

Bruce shook his head and said while grabbing his burger

"Your really going to drink?"

I simply nodded my head, I mean I have a reason to drink...I might lost my brother over secrets that's been told. I just lost my friendship and trust with Jeremy. I mean come on...Anyone would drown their sorrows with drinks. I sighed while eating some of the food off his tray and he moved closer to me and I couldn't help myself but to smile. I mean, I guess I went thru all this trouble for one person. The only person that has my attend(?) for him. I just hope it was all worth it in the end. I never like getting hurt and today, I'm hurting more than ever...Mentally and Emotionally.

I barely heard with they were talking about at the table until, Amy throw a fry at me which I dodged at the nick of time. She said with an eye brow raised

"Are you okay? You look like your going to be sick, Gwenni Bear?"

I gasped and said with the quickest smile I can pull him to cover my feelings

"Yeah, I'm fine...Just..ummm...thinking."

She said while looking at me, with a hard stare seeing if I would screw up

"Are you sure and don't lie to me? I can tell."

I shook my head and ate a fry to hid a bit of my sad feature, I said while grabbing my milkshake 

"No, I'm fine...Amy."

She still don't turn her gaze until, her boyfriend said to her which made her break the staring contest

"Hey, baby. Maybe she is fine."

Amy sighed and said while laying her head on her boyfriends neck

"Maybe your right."

I was secretly happy that her boyfriend did that for me...or to calm her down. I don't want to have a fight with my best friend over nothing. I sighed and took a sip of my milkshake while looking at Bruce who was looking at me. I smiled at him while sipping and he returned the expression. I was hoping this is worth it in the end.
