Jake's POV
I was running back to Gina to tell her we should get going when I saw something that made my blood boil.
That blood sucking machine which I saw a couple of years back.
I left this town when my father told me about the werewolf thing and I had to leave because I was scared I would hurt Gina or change into the wolf without conscious
So I left the town and I was so sad but I didn't have an option.
Either stay and risk every one's life or leave until I can control myself.
"Gina....Who is he?!" I asked from behind
"Jake.....This is Henry my......" Gina said while getting off Henry but he kept pulling her on him once again but finally she got up
"I am her boyfriend" Henry said
I could see him smirking
"Hi I am Jake the friendzoned guy, nice to meet you Henry" I said while I walked to the forest
"Jake" Gina said running after him
"Go away Gina" I said and I started to run
"We shouldn't follow him" I heard the blood boy saying
I suddenly stopped on my tracks and looked at Gina and said
"Why....Just why?!" I said and felt tear slide down my cheek
"I like him Jake what should I do" Gina said crying too
"I came back after all these years to tell you one thing and that thing is that I love you but I couldn't drag you in my problems" I said
"Just hear me out Jake....I..." Gina said
"NO you hear me out I am done with all your lies you don't even like me" I said and I could feel myself getting red and I was afraid of what will happen next
"When I left, I thought you would be as broken as I was, I left because dragging you into my life could have risked yours" I said
"But then you ran to him even though you probably know he is a vampire" I said
"I am not a human yeah but I left, I broke my heart with my own hands just because I was afraid that I will hurt you" I said
"But you left me and went to the worst of them all" I said feeling the wolf coming out
"That's enough" Henry said
"Shut up sucker" I said knowing I am not going to stop it from coming out.
I felt my wolf coming out and since I am soon to be alpha and now beta, my powers are extreme.
I saw the blood boy coming towards me and I jumped on him and we started to fight.
I heard Gina's calls but I didn't care anymore.
Then suddenly I felt Henry retreat and Alex's wolf jumping on me and biting my ear playfully.
We ran behind the tree and shifted back I found a stack of clothes and I changed into them.
"Just leave Gina, I have had enough" I said
"Jake just hear me out" Gina said
"No, I loved you but you didn't care and you placed me in the friendzone" I said feeling my rage build up again.
"Jake, stop we should go dad wants you that's why I am here" Alex said but I didn't look at her I kept looking at my only love.
"Hey before you go Jake looks like I am replaced by miss redhead here and you don't have anything to say to me after hiding the werewolf thing from me" Gina said and started crying
"I have a name and it's Alex" Alexandra said
"Gina....I may have hid some things from you but I only love you. Alex is from my pack I am the Beta soon to be Alpha and she is his daughter" I said explaining
"I don't care Jake, You hid it from me" Gina said
"Let's go Gina" Henry said grabbing her hand
I felt Alex sliding her hand in mine and pulling me towards the pack house.
"So this is Gina" Alex said
"Yeah it's her" I said with a frown all over my face
"She is beautiful" Alex said while smiling but it's not from her heart
"All the girls are beautiful, you are beautiful Alex but you need to find your mate, the man who will treat you properly and who will love you like I love Gina" Jake said
"What about you, won't you find your mate, what will happen to Gina then" Alex said
"I think she is my mate but I don't know I am just confused and every time I see her like a whole cage of butterflies are in my stomach but she just don't understand" I said
"I hope one day I will find someone who will love me like that Jake" Alex said
"You will" I said
"Race you till the pack house" Alex said running
"Hey not fair" I ran after her forgetting all of my problems.
