The Basics of How to Write a Book!! (For complete Noobs!)

Your readers count!!

Your readers do count and it is a huge must that you acknowledge them! Some of you may not know how to do that but I have a few ways that you could...

You must try your best to reply to their comments, thank them personally and answer any questions asked (unless they would ruin the plot then maybe don't do that). Make sure they know that you know they are there, they don't want to feel invisible do they!

When reading and replying to their comments, make sure to look out for, accept and use their criticism, this can be used to help improve your book, never accept any hate, though, just ignore it and don't pay attention to it!! You don't have to use it but just realise they are trying to help and aren't trying to upset you, don't take it to heart but just keep what they say in account, it could be used!

Always show your appreciation for them! Whether this is in comments, messages on your message board or an A.N. at the bottom/top of your chapters (or even make a full chapter of one), make sure to consistently thank them! They don't just give you votes and nice comments to be completely ignored by you!

Open social media accounts specifically for either your book or your Wattpad account, this is a good way to tease your readers with updates and openly communicate with them!

Other good options would be too:
-Dedicate chapters to a reader because you liked their comment the beat or they are a serial voter of your story.
-Let them tell you with chapter ideas or even let them create covers for your book or even pictures/drawings/videos for the tops of your chapters.
-You could also read their books when asked and then give them feedback and a really nice thing to do would to also advertise their books within your story.

Try to give this piece of advice a go because it is genuinely really important to follow because that is how you gain and keep readers and gain more votes for your book to make you easier to discover.
