The Storm

  Not realizing two people standing behind me.

" Yo, ____chan!"

This startled me.

Causing me to loose my balance on the huge rock, I begin to fall backwards off. Nota. Word able to come out of my mouth.

" Wah.! look out." I Voice behind me says.

I prepare to feel pain of crashing onto the ground backwards.

It never happened. I hear a huge thud.

Only to feel some one has caught me just before impact.

"Hey, you okay?" Asks a concerned voice.

I open my eyes, meeting with green ones.

I just stare at the face to surprised to say a word. Until my head clicks.

" Aah, I'm sorry!." I say in Japanese shooting myself up from the green eyes ones arms.

Only to hear. Okita giggle in the back ground.

I turn my self facing the two.

My eyes widen when I see the one who caught me. He has a cute face, with green eyes that just sparkle in the moonlight. On top of that really long brown hair.

" Aha, sorry sorry, we scared you. You okay?." He asks.

" Ah, yes!"

" I'm Todou Heisuke nice to meet you." He says with a smile.

I stand up really fast dusting myself off.

" I'm ____."

"Whoa ah, Okita you weren't kidding when you said foreigner. She is cute though." Says Heisuke in a happy tone.


I blush almost at his comment.

"( Okita told me what happened. Don't worry I help.") Heisuke says in a cute English tone.

I bow thanking them both.

"Let's go then." Heisuke says holding out his hand to me.

I take it. He leads me up to the top of the steps. Then turns left.


We stop moving facing a door two rooms down.

" Here." He says with a smile.

He slides the door open.

I walk into the room. It may look quite empty besides a small wooden table in the far corner, it looks comfortable.

" Ah, I will get you the futon to sleep on. One moment."

I nod. I sit on the ground waiting till.

I take my backpack off me setting it in the corner. Keeping my bow in it, with the sword wrapped in cloth in there too.

Heisuke comes back carrying the blankets, and bed I can sleep on.

He puts it on the ground.

" Thank you."

He smiles.

"( Will you I be good here for the night?")" Your not scared?" He asks.

" Yes, I'll be fine...." I look up.

He sees right through me. He can tell I'm a little scared to be hear alone.

" I'm fine don't worry." I smile.

He nods.

"Well, if you need me. I'm there." He points to the end of the out door hall to the left.

"( End)"

" Okay. Well, oyasumi." I tell him.


"Goodnight." He waves to me while sliding the door shut.

The moonlight lights the inside of my room. So I can see very well inside.

I take my shoes, and socks off. Keeping my skirt, and top on. Since I have nothing else to sleep in.

I brush my hair with a small comb I carry on my bag where ever I go.

I climb into the white bed. Pulling my hair to one side as I sleep. I pull the blankets up on myself. Then I just lay there with my eyes open.

(" So this is it. I'm hear. These people are very nice. How can I sleep now.... dammit brain shut up, sleep!!") I whisper to myself in english.

All of a sudden I see a huge flash. Lighting up my room.

My eyes widen as I see even more flashes happen.

"( Eh, call down it's just a little lightning.)" I tell myself.


Until.

* Boom crash*

A huge sound of thunder crashes through the sky. Making the ground vibrate.

I cover my ears, keeping myself form shrieking from the loud sound. Not wanting to wake up anyone.

* Boom!

I keep covering my ears wincing at the sound as the thunder gets louder.

It hasn't even started raining at all yet. The moonlight has vanished. Now the only light is lightning.

I am now sitting in a pitch black room with no light. Until lighting flashes again followed by thunder. Getting louder each time.

I clasp my hands over my ears lying back in my bed, trying to call down.

Then there was a really loud crash of thunder.

It scared me soo much. I leap out of bed whimpering.

Then Heisuke's word echo through my head.

"( Im next door if you need me.")



With my hands slammed against my head I walk up to my door bare foot sliding it open. Only to see a violent lighting flash every few seconds.

I quickly step out, and speed walking towards the room Heisuke said is his, at the end of the hall to the left.

I kneel down sitting on my legs under me right I front of Heisuke's room door. At least I thought it was.

Then I begin to quietly speak.

" Heisuke..."

No answer


" Heisuke."


A huge crash of thunder happens.


* Boom!*

I hear some one leap from their bed inside.

It shakes the ground. I am now huddled at his room's door.

"Gah! What was that." I hear a voice say from inside.

Lighting in flashes.

The person inside turn turns his head to his door. To see me huddled right by his door.

As lighting flashes the outline of my body is shown.

"Omg! __." Leaping out of bed.

His eyes widen. As thunder crashes. I finally let out a whimper.

He covers his ears and speed walks to the door sliding it open.

Only to find a whimpering me crumpled in a ball.

" No way! ___! Are you okay??."

"H-Heisuke."

*Boom!!*

"Ahahwaa..." I cry quietly as the storm becomes more violent.

" Heisuke.... I'm scared...."

He awws at me.

He knees down picking me up, and brings me into his room.


He sits on his bed holding me close, as thunder makes me shake like a leaf.

" Hey,.. It's okay.." He pets my back.

I only shake as the thunder gets worse. As my hands are still clammed shut tight over my ears.

" H-H...Hei..suke ..." I shudder out.

" it's okay. I will protect you. You can sleep hear for the night."

"T-thank you.."

Heisuke lays me down on his bed pulling the sheets over me.

His very long brown hair hanging out in front of him on my face.

I look up at how pretty his hair is.

My hands still clamped over my ears.

Heisuke finds another blanket putting it right beside the bed and covers himself with it.


I try to sleep by closing my else. Feeling safe with him.

I end up falling asleep with both my hands over my ears.

Heisuke, however does not sleep he watches me making sure I don't freak out.

It starts pouring rain. Making everything sound a lot louder.

Heisuke ends of covering his ears because the thunder becomes very loud.

"Gaah soo loud.. " he complains.

I'm finally asleep while he realizes. He lays down to sleep.

We both end up sleeping as the storm ends up calming down at some time.
