It was the week after the robotics competition until anchor beach qualify for the finals and I stayed my distance from Mariana and Emma because I had did the unthinkable with Mat let alone lost my virginity to him. My mind was stuck on Jesus sleeping with Emma that it didn't register that I slept with Mat last night... I don't plan on ever telling Mariana or Jesus about Mat. I walked in school and went to my locker looking for my baseball cap.
"Hey.. um.. how are you feeling.. I--- didn't get a chance to ask last night after I drove you home." It was Mat's voice I closed my locker a little to see his face
"Yeah I'm okay... I mean it was my first time but it couldn't been worst... but I just feel bad." I whispered
"About Jesus..?" He asked
"Yeah... but I'll get over it... but thanks for checking on me but I gotta get to class." I said punching his arm softly and walking away I came to a set of doors where Mariana and Jesus entered I ran to hide behind a set of lockers.
"Jesus your drunk moms are gonna kill you when they find out." I heard Mariana say
"Look I'm not gonna tell about my pills incident so I need you to not tell about me fixing the greenhouse for dad and I'm only covering for him." He said
I really miss hanging out with Mariana and Jesus but there are a lot of trust issues between me and them. I barely go to the fosters house to sleep now... I have a job so I spend all my money on hotel rooms to avoid them all together. School was over and reached in got my uniform for work but I got interrupted by Jesus and Mariana walking over to talk to me.
"Hey Carter." Mariana said
"Hey...." I said lowly closing my locker
"We miss you at home I mean you are working all night and day and then we come to school it's like we don't see you as much anymore." Mariana said
"That's the point" I said leaving them both in the hallways as I went to work.
Jesus Pov: "She hates me Mariana." I said
"She just doesn't know the truth or the fact that you put a nail straight in your head. She needs time." Mariana said hugging me
"If you say so.. how are you and Nick?" I asked
"We friends but not thinking about relationships especially after you and Emma problems." Mariana said laughing
I pushed her and went back home...
Carter Pov:
Great I ran out of money so I guess it back to the fosters. I slipped on my pink off the shoulders shirt and some black ripped pants and some white vans and walked to the fosters house.

I walked in the Brandon old practice room and it was the same way I left it two weeks ago I dropped my bag and sat on the couch thinking until I heard my stomach growling. I got up and went into the house to find Mariana and Emma working on the robot for the competition and Jesus with a bandage on forehead.
"What happens if the robot doesn't work." Emma said
"It's gonna work." Mariana said
"God shoot me now" I said as I closed the door and everyone turned around and seen me.
"CARTER!! Your home for like the first time" Mariana said hugging me
"Yeah my boss let off early... so I came home." I lied
Mariana let go and me and there was tension between me and Emma you could feel it and also awkwardness between me and Jesus I had to break the silence.
"What happened to your forehead?" I said grabbing orange juice out of the refrigerator.
"A nail gun incident." He said not looking me in my eyes
"Hmm... pretty dumb of you." I said leaving going to my room and finishing homework. I got a texted from Mat.

I opened the message to see him at the beach.

I locked my phone and finished my math homework until someone knocked on the door.
"Come on in." I said
"Oh hi sweetieCallie wants everyone in the living room for a family meeting." Lena said to me as I got all the books off me and walked with her in the house. I walked with her in the house and everyone was sitting down I sat next to Jude.
"Jesus sweetie are you okay.. your not gonna pass out again." Stef said
"I'm fine mom's really I'm okay nothin wrong but me hitting my head on something so I'm being extremely careful." Jesus said

"Alright I call everyone to this meeting because I wanna do something but I can't without Carter's permission." Callie said
"What's that?" I asked
"I would like to start a Justice4Jack Campaign for you and him and other foster kids who are wrongly put on dangerous homes like you and jack were in... there's a fair tomorrow and we will start there I made sweatshirts and everything." She said showing me a shirt
"I have one for all of us.. but I'm really hoping you let me do this for you and your brother." She said
"Callie I love the idea.. I mean jack would of love you doing this and I love that you are doing this for some many other kids that are in the system." I said hugging her as a tear slipped down my face finally jack will be able to Rest In Peace......
