Nineteenth letter: ㅣ is for trEE!!! It looks like a very burnt and dead trEE... It's kinda sad... like ㅡ, it does not have a y form (there is no yi or yeu), so if you've ever heard/read Yi as a name (Wu YiFan is different because it's a chinese name, so if that's what came to mind you may dismiss it), the Y is put there simply for pronounciation simplicity to foreigners. Fun fact!! The Korean last name Lee is actually not Lee, or Ree. It's 이! The L and R are added to make it easy to pronounce. It seems more natural than saying your Korean friend's name is Bryan I or Bryan Ee. So they put Lee or Ree instead.
