Ch23

"Well this should be better." Hermione huffed as she and Draco entered the same restaurant.
"I promise it will." Draco smirked and opened the door for Hermione.

a while later.....

"Well this food is actually good." Hermione said as she bit into a piece of salmon.
Draco just looked at her with wide eyes and started laughing.
"What!" Hermione exclaimed.
"Its--just that--" draco couldn't help but laugh.
"Just what?" Hermione furrowed her eye brows.
"Alright. Alright. The fact that we're on a date and all that you could say was heheheeehe that!" Draco burst out in laughter again.
"What the hell Draco." Hermione lightly slapped his arm.
"You're too cute Mione." Draco relaxed and stared into her honey like brown eyes.
"uh huh." She replied blushing.
"Mione you're very beautiful. And I really---" Draco was cut off when the power was cut off suddenly.
They both got up shocked.
Draco's hand slipped towards his pocket for his wand.
"Hermione. Stay behind me." He said.
"No. I'm the auror here." Hermione took her wand out.
"Stop being stubborn for once. The weaslette will kill me if anything happens to you." He whispered.
Draco saw A figure shuffle past him.
"Who's there?!" He called out.
"I Swear you don't wanna know." The person called out.
Draco and Hermione turned back to back moving in circles.
"Who are you and what do you want?!" Draco shouted out again."
"Her." The person let out a small laugh. And a spell almost hit Draco, but he quickly repeled it.
Spells went around the room and luckily the restaurant was empty.
"Hermione stay close." He clutche onto her tight.
A spell almost hit Hermione as she attempted to put a protection charm around them.
"You're next mudblood." The anonymous voice laughed and apparated out the restaurant.
"Lumos Maximus." Hermione casted to relighten the dark room
"Hermione are you okay?" Draco asked her.
"Yeah." She replied as she looked at the cut on her arm.
"Mione. Let me see it."
"No I'm fine Dray." She said.
"Let me-- did you just call me dray?" Draco smirked.
"Not now Draco. I'm hurt remember." Hermione changed the topic.
"Alright lets heal that." Draco moved his wand around her arm casting a healing charm as he let out a light chuckle.
"Yeah please." Hermione sighed.
The power came back in the Restaurant and Draco and Hermione decided to leave.

"Thanks Draco." Hermione said.
Draco leaned on the door frame of Hermione apartment. "For everything." She smiled.
"The pleasure's all mine." He moved a little closer to her.
"What were you saying before the lights went out Dray." She asked him.
"See. You just called me Dray." He smirked.
"Oh shut up. Now answer me." She insisted
"I said that I really like you." He leaned in.
"Thats it?" She asked.
"I believe so. But i won't gurantee that it'll stay the same forever." He smirked.
"Well I must say Malfoy I do seem to like you too and I don't know why." She confessed.
"I hope you know that that's called love Ms. Granger." He said.
"I beg to differ." Hermione said and closed the space between them. The two passionately kissed but Hermione broke apart.
"Good night Draco." She said
"Goodnight hun." Draco kissed her on the forehead and stepped outside the door frame as hermione shut the door.
