Hayes POV

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY BED?!" I scream at the top of my lungs in anger

Their heads both turn and look at me.

"GET OUT!" I scream

Nick gets up off my bed but just stands at me. That causes me to lunge at him. I start punching him in the face. He tries to fight back but I'm stronger than him.

Megan just watches.

Once my knuckles are bloody enough and his face is destroyed I slam his head against the floor and get off of him.

There is blood on my carpet and all over me and Nick.

"Now get our before I destroy you." I say harshly

Nick doesn't even hesitate. Once he's our Megan comes up to me. Close. Very close.

"Hayes your so strong." She whispers in my ear.

I want to hurt Megan too but I can't. She's a girl.

"Get out Megan." I say

"See ya baby." And she kisses me on the cheek.

She sashays out of my room. I slam the door shut behind her and punch the wall.

I then jump into my bed and cry myself to sleep.

Nicks POV

Hayes has some serious anger issues. But I let him win. I would kill him if I fought back. I'm not that bruised up. Just a bunch of cuts and a black eye.

But Megan and I's plan worked. Very well.

I mean I really like Megan but that's why I helped her out. And I hate Hayes.

So the plan was to get Hayes jealous of Lucy by me kissing her. Then Hayes would kiss Megan to make Lucy jealous. That is what Megan wanted. So then Megan would make Hayes say he loved Megan in front of Lucy and that would break them up.

Now I have a plan to destroy Hayes.

Lucy's POV

After both the movies I end up falling asleep. Gabbi was already asleep and I was exhausted. I'm still really hurt but I feel a lot better. I don't plan on apologizing to Hayes right now.

I wake up the next morning. The thoughts from last night flood into my head but I try and forget them.

"What do you wanna do today?" Gabbi asks me

"Stay inside. I just wanna watch movies." I say

"Yeah I do too." She agrees

"Let's go get breakfast." I suggest

"I can smell the waffles already." Gabbi says laughing

I laugh too and we head downstairs.

"Good morning." Her mom says smiling

"Waffles!" Gabbi says jumping up and down

I laugh. "Gabbi want waffles!" She says

"Okay okay. Here." Her mom says handing her a plate.

She then hands me one and we eat our waffles.

"Oh and Lucy. I called your mom last night and told her you stayed over." Gabbis mom said

"Okay thanks." I say with a mouthful of food .

After we finish eating we go to my house so I can change. Gabbi and I walk in and my parents are sitting at the table. My mom has bloodshot eyes.

"Mom? What's wrong?" I ask slaking in

"Gabbi could you give us a minute?" My dad asks

She nods and goes upstairs

"Sit down Lucy." He says

"What's wrong?" I ask getting worried

"It's Jason." My mom says as a year falls down my face.

Jason is my older brother. Did I mention that before? Well if I didn't Jason is 19 and he is currently in the military.

"What happened to him?" I ask tearing up

"He got shot. His legs got amputated and has a lot of blood loss. The doctors don't think he is going to make it." My dad explains

My mom starts crying and so do I.

"Why is my life this difficult right now?!" I scream and storm upstairs

What did I do to deserve this much pain? I didn't do anything bad!

I storm into my room to find Gabbi laying on my bed.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" She asks

I nod and tell her everything

"The doctors always say they aren't going to make it. Everyone they say that too survives. Jason is strong and he will make it." She comforts me

"Gabbi I love you." And I hug her

"I love you too." She says and hugs me back

I couldn't ask for a better friend than Gabbi. She always knows what to say. She knows me better than anyone.

I then get up and take a shower and clean up. I change into leggings and a sweatshirt.

"It's snowing!" Gabbi says looking out the window

"Really? Yay!" I say

"We have to have a snow fight! And build and igloo or something." Gabbi says

"Let's watch some movies and hopefully when we are done it will be deep enough." I say and lay on my bed

"Yeah hopefully. So what do you wanna watch?" I ask

"Cloudy and a Chance of Meatballs 2." She says giggling

I shove her playfully and find it. Halfway during the movie I get a text.

Finally something good is happening for once.
