Chapter 6

Lucy's POV

*beep beep beep*

I hit snooze on my alarm clock. It takes me another 5 minutes of hitting snooze to finally get me up.

I go into my bathroom and take a quick shower, wash my face and brush my teeth.

Then I change into some skinny jeans, a sparkly , flowy tank top with a cream cardigan. I so wear some brown sandals. I also put on some natural makeup.

I head down stairs and eat some breakfast. After breakfast I grab my phone and backpack and head out the door.

I walk to the bus stop and smile even I see Hayes. "Hey" I say as he gives me a hug

"I missed you babe." He said

We both smile and awkwardly stand there for a while.

"Do you have your schedule?" Hayes asks me

I hand it to him.

"We have every class together except 2nd and 4th. And you're only a few lockers down from mine!" He says excitedly

"That is so awesome! Where's Nash?" I ask

He tenses up "the high school bus already came." He says looking me I the eyes.

"Okay." I smile at him

" you can sit with me on the bus if you want." Hayes offers

The bus come and Hayes gets on first. He goes towards the middle of the bus. He says hi to some people and some girls also flirt with him, giving me glares.

Hayes sits in an open seat and invited me to sit next to him.

"Why aren't you siting with me dude?" A jock asks. He was almost as cute as Hayes

"I'm gonna sit with Lucy for a while. She just moved here." He said smiling at me

"Hi cutie. I'm Bradon. And your name is Lucy?" He said looking me up and down smiling

"Hey she's mine." Hayes says getting mad. He then puts his arm around me. I get butterflies.

Hayes introduces me to some is his friends that are girls and his guy friends. They all seem to like me.

We get to school and Hayes shows me where my locker is.

"You should try out for the volleyball team!" Hayes told me pointing to a flyer

"Yeah! I should" I go and look at the date. Tryout are tomorrow

"You'll be great. And I'll be at every game and practice you have." He says holding my hand

"I don't even know if I made the team."

"I know you will babe." He kisses me on the cheek

I go through the day making lots of friends. I'm really happy here.

Hayes POV

Today after school I'm going to ask Lucy to be my girlfriend. Yeah I've only known her for 3 days but I really like her.

She is making lots of friends and even is trying out for the volleyball team.

The school day seems like it lasts forever. I catch Lucy at her locker.

"Lucy I need to talk to you." I say as we walk out to the buses.

"Okay. What is it babe?" She smiles at me. I get butterflies when she calls me babe.

"I really like you. A lot. Will you be my girlfriend?" I look straight into her eyes waiting for a sign.
