Lucy POV

Just when I thought things were getting better.... They weren't.

Now I just want to move. As far away from Hayes as possible.

I end up running to my house. I collapse out of breath before I reach my house. I don't know whose house I'm in front of but I don't care right now.

"Lucy?" I hear a concerned voice behind me

I look up to see Matt hovering over me.

I guess Nash invited him over.

"Lucy... What happened?" He asks sitting down next to me.

"Hayes... Megan..." I manage to say

"Oh..." He says and puts him arm around me

I snuggle into him.

"Hayes has cheated on you too many times. I think you need to forget him. Your beautiful and amazing. Hayes doesn't deserve you." Matt says

Matt is so sweet. His words make me stop crying.

I look at him and smile.

Matts POV

Nash and I were outside playing basketball when we hear someone crying.

"I'll go check it out." I say

I walk out front at see Lucy crying on the sidewalk.

"Lucy?" I ask standing over her.

I sit down and ask what happened. Hayes happened. I don't know why he does these things to her. She is the sweetest girl I've ever met. She is so beautiful and doesn't deserve him.

I tell her that and she stops crying.

"I hate to see you like this." I tell her

Being around her makes me really happy. Do I like her?

I was just staring into her eyes when I feel our lips touch. Did I really just kiss her? Her lips are so soft.

"Matt?" I hear Nash say

I pull away and stare at Nash. I stand up.

"Hayes won't like this..." He says

"Hayes found someone else." I say starting to cry

"Don't cry..." I say pulling her into a hug.

"I just really like Hayes." She says. My heart get shattered into a million pieces.

"Let's go inside." Nash says and I take Lucy's hand and walk inside.

We go into Nash's room.

I lay on Nash's bed and invite Lucy to lay next to me.

Lucy's POV

Matt is being a really good friend.

"Matt you don't have to be nice to me." I say looking into his brown eyes

"Because I want to." He says smiling

We sit and talk for a while.

"So you wanna watch a movie?" Nash asks

"Yeah." Matt says and I nod

We watch some movie I've never seen before. I don't even know the title.

Half way trough the movie Hayes walks in.

"Nash I need to..." He starts but stops when he sees Matt and I

"Lucy..." Hayes says

"Go away Hayes." Nash says

Hayes looks so hurt.

"So your moving on to someone else now?" Hayes says raising his voice

"So your allowed to date other girls but I can't watch a movie with my guy friends?" I say back

He just stands there and stares at me.

"Exactly. Now just leave." I say

"I'll talk to you later Nash." Hayes says and walk out of the room. I tense up

"It's okay Lucy." Matt says squeezing my arm pulling me closer to him

Then I lean in and kiss him. It felt so good.
