Matts POV

She kissed me. Lucy kissed me. Does this mean she is over Hayes now?

"Guys I'm still here." Nash said. We pull away and Lucy laughs.

"Let's watch the movie." She says and we continue it. Lucy snuggled into me the rest of the time.

"Lucy I really like you." I whisper to her

"I like you too." She says smiling

I guess Hayes is out if the picture now.

Lucy's POV

Matt told me he liked me. But I only see him as a friend... And I told him I liked him back because I didn't want to hurt his feelings.

After the movie I get up to go to the bathroom. The door is closed so I wait till someone comes out.

After like 5 minutes I knock.

"What?" The voice says

"I need to use the bathroom." I say

There was a pause then the door opens. Hayes appears with bloodshot, puffy eyes.

"Hayes..." I say

He just looks down at the floor and starts to walk away.

"Hayes." I say louder than I planned

He stops and turns around.

"Why are you crying?" I ask

"Because I don't like to see you with another guy Lucy." He says

"You cheated on me Hayes. You have no right to make me stay away from other guys." I feel like crying

He just stands there and looks at the ground. I go over to him and hug him.

"Why do you keep going back to Megan?" I ask

"I don't know. I don't even like her. I like you." He says but he doesn't hug me back.

I pull away. Then he pulls me in for another hug.

"Can we please forget about this?" Hayes asks

"How can I trust you not to go out with Megan?" I say pushing him away

"I promise." He says then kisses me.

I missed him. A lot.

Hayes POV

I really keep messing up. Megan just does this thing that makes me fall in love with her. I still like Lucy way more than her but she still makes me fall for her even when I don't.

Lucy and I made up.

"I promise you it won't happen again." I say

She nods

"It's getting late..." She says

"Yeah I'll walk you home." I say

"Wait I still need to pee." She says while running into the bathroom.

She is so cute.

We walk home holding hands. We get to her front door and I say "goodnight Lucy."

"Goodnight Hayes." She says and kisses my cheek then walks in the door.

I head home with a huge smile on my face.

Lucy's POV

I go upstairs and straight to bed. I'm so tired and I need to sleep. I plug my phone into its charger and I get two text messages.

Goodnight :)

From Hayes <3
Goodnight beautiful :)

I text them both back goodnight and fall asleep.

I wake up feeling like I'm going to throw up.

"Mom!" I call

She rushes into my room

"I don't feel good." I say

"Let me take your temperature." She says

"101.6" she says

"You need to stay in bed and rest." She says kissing my forehead.

I lay down and fall asleep.

I wake up a little while later to my mom walking into the room.

"Here is some soup." She says

I sit up and put the tray on my lap. The soup was so good. The doorbell rang and my mom left to get it.

A little while later Hayes comes into the room.

"What are you doing here?" I ask

"Can I not come to see my girlfriend?" He says laying down next to me

"Well I wasn't expecting you to come." I say

"I was gonna as if you wanted to come hang out with us but I guess you can't." He says

"Sorry Hayes. But I'm fine. You can go with your friends." I say turning on the tv.

"No I want to stay here with you." He says smiling at me

I smile back "you're the best. What do you want to watch?" I ask him logging onto Netflix.

"I don't care. You choose." He says

"How about Grown Ups 2?" I ask

"Sure." He says

I make more room for him to lay down. We play the movie and we couldn't stop laughing.

I eventually fell asleep snuggling into Hayes. I really missed him.
