"Wait...You two are..." He pauses a moment and I quickly look in the rear view mirror at him with a large grin.

"Yes." I feel the smile creep on Nash's lips and Dalton's face shows too many emotions.

"Wow, can't believe it Gabbs." He smiles in surprise.

"When did this happen?" He questions us both while continue through the one-lane traffic police have created due to a wreck.

"Yesterday, actually." His face fills with even more shock, and his eyes grow wide, the rear view mirror giving me the advantage of glimpsing at his face.

"Wow. I wonder how Mom will take it." He chuckles a little.

"She'll love Nash. Most everyone does." I laugh a little, taking his hand.

"How's Uncle Freddy?" I ask with excitement.

"Dad's doing good, misses you a lot."

"I know me too. And Aunt Katherine. Been a while." I sigh.

"Well I'm glad you decided to visit, everyone bugs each other asking about you." He laughs a little.

I grin, and rest my head on Nash's shoulder.

The rest of the car ride is nothing much of short conversation and quietness.

----

Finally, after what felt like the most miserable car ride, we arrive at Uncle Freddy and Aunt Katherine's house.

I watch as Uncle Freddy and Aunt Katherine quickly run outside of the large two-story house, decorated in cobble stone and mahogany wood.

My mouth forms a wide grin as I quickly hop out of our vehicle, running toward them.

Instantly I feel my Uncle's embrace, my feet lifted off the ground as he spins me around.

"Ahh...My girl!" We laugh as he puts me back down, and I feel my shoes press back onto the cement.

I quickly pull my Aunt into a hug, comforted tightly as a tear slips from my eyes.

"I missed all of you so much!" I exclaim, backing away but briskfully wipe away the tear.

"Uhm, Aunt Katherine, Uncle Freddy...This is Nash." I smile at them and Nash pulls out his hand to shake, my Uncle quickly ignoring it and wrapping his arms around him.

"Around here, we hug, son." They both laugh and Nash hugs Aunt Katherine as well, and Nash replies to Uncle Fred's comment.

"Some people just don't get it, I prefer hugs over a hand shake. Just how I'm raised but some people like their space." He jokes.

"Yeah, Nash and Gabby are getting married." My cousin blurts out, everyone's head turning quickly to Dalton.

"Really?" I mouth at him.

I turn back to them, and I see the surprise in both of their faces.

"Well, as long as my girl's happy. This gives us the chance to get to know you." My Uncle smiles, as she does too with a nod.

"I look forward to it. Your neice, she's one-of-a-kind that's for sure." He smiles at me, my heart dropping.

"Well, how about we get you kids settled in?" My uncle insists.

"Also, I made Gabby's favorite...Grilled Alaskan Salmon!" My eyes grow wide in excitement and my mouth begins to water.

"Ugh...so goood!" I look at them and we all laugh.

"We'll get our suitcases and stuff, and we'll be in, in just a moment." I smile at them as they head on inside.

"Do you think Dalton doesn't like me or something?" Is the first question Nash asks.

"No, he can just do things like that to try and mess with me. He doesn't mean anything by it. He just ties to joke." I assire him, as we grab our suitcases from the trunk.

"You're uncle seems awesome."

"Yeah he likes you already, so does Aunt Katherine." Nash grins proudly.

"But if you think he's awesome now, just wait. He's the best."
