I lean my head to the side, atop of his.
"Nothing. Just thinking is all." I assure him and he sighs.
"Well alright. Don't be getting cranky with me later and say I don't listen to you, when I offered to." I chuckle toward his reply and proceed to close my eyes in attempt to sleep.
-----
"Yeah, we just got our luggage." I assure Jess as she ponders me with worried questions.
"Okay, well I wanted to make sure you landed safe. I already miss you." I hear her pout over the phone and smile softly.
"I know I miss you too." I look toward Nash, who stands patiently waiting on the sidewalk with our suitcases as cars pass and go.
"Okay, I love you but I have to go. I'll text you later." I say quickly and between Jess saying her goodbye I press the red phone button proceeding to slip it into my back jean pocket.
I walk up to Nash, enjoying the amusement of Nash's hair flopping around in every direction, while Nash goes insane trying to keep it still.
I laugh unintentionally and he looks back at me irritated.
"Sorry, couldn't help it." I say defensively.
Nash looks back out at the cars, as well as I, trying to eye my cousin Dalton, who was 3 years older than me.
"I think I see him." I say glancing over a white Toyota Four Runner. I look to the drivers side, catching glimpse of a brown-headed man and recognize him instantly.
"I see him, come on." I smile grabbing our luggage as he pulls to the side and unlocks the trunk, waving at me.
I can see the huge grin on his face, and instantly it makes my heart warm up.
"Hey!" I chirp after getting our kuggage in and buckle my seatbelt as Nash follows in.
"Well if it isn't Gabby Winston."
"Oh hush." I laugh at him as he grins in the rear-view mirror.
"Nash, this is my cousin Dalton. He's well...what's a word to describe you?" I question him.
"A bully." I finish laughing a little at the memories onus as kids. He'd talk me into doing the dumbest things that were dangerous but you know me, being 'brave' (Quotations because I was usually balling my eyes out while doing it) I did it anyways.
"Aweee, I'm not a bully!" He exclaims pulling out of the airport.
I laugh an look over at Nash.
"Dalton talked me into doing dumb stuff everytime we saw each other." I laugh hard.
Nash smiles at me, and I kiss his cheek, ignoring Dalton completely.
"Hey, Hey! Save that for when we all get home and get rooms, Okay? I'm not driving y'all around to have a provate secession in the back of MY car. Agreed?" He says with a frantic face in the mirror.
I feel the color in my bashful cheeks, and pick on him.
"Okay well when I'm driving you and your fiance around everywhere and you kiss her, all of that applies." I laugh hard.
