I had my long brown hair in a messy bun with my glasses pushed all the way up my nose. My brown ankle boots over my black jeans and my top tucked in the front with my white blazer on. Professional and casual.
Tonight I am off to Paul Blofis's house for a teacher meeting. Paul said that his wife makes a delicious roast chicken, so we were all heading to his house for that reason.
Let me introduce myself. I'm Julie Goodmen, music and math teacher at Goode High School. Only 28 years of age and engaged to Simon Moore.
I walked up the hallway to the Blofis apartment building with my large bag in my hand. When I knocked on the door one of my co-workers, Nessa Young, opened the door
"Julie, good your here. Just waiting on Noah, then Sally will serve the roast!" She ushered me in
I sat down in the living room and talked about school and our lives with the other teaching staff until Noah came
Sally, Paul's wife, served the roast and sat down with us for dinner
"Sally, is Percy going to join us?" Paul asked. Percy was one of my students in math and Paul's step-son
"No no, had to many blue cookies before dinner" she laughed
We all gave a confused face "Blue cookies?" Sam asked
"It's a joke with him and I. I try to make as many as his foods blue. Blue cake, pancakes, mash potatoes"
"Oh" I said
Halfway through the meeting and dinner we heard a loud giggle come from the hallway leading to the bedrooms
Paul just chuckled and Sally rolled her eyes. The others just ignored it seeing as Paul and Sally didn't seem to fussed that Percy was giggling, sounding like a very excited girl. *wink wink*
Some weird giggles later we came to the topic of special needs
"Paul, where's your toilet?" Noah asked, getting up from the table
"Down the hallway, first door on the left"
He nodded his thanks and left, while we got back to talking
"So, you all know about Percy and his ADHD and dysl-" Paul was interrupted by a loud argh! And a sequel
Paul and Sally immediately jumped up as if they were accustomed to attacks on their house. What got me though was only Noah and Percy were down the hall, how come it sounded like a girls squeal?
Sally quickly ran down the hall to check where the loud noise came from while Paul quickly rushed into the kitchen (just in case your were wondering why, he went to get the emergency ambrosia and nectar packs in case they were getting attacked! You probably don't care) to grab who knows what.
Soon after we heard Sally's laughter come from the hallway and heard foots steps. Sally come back first laughing, then Noah, then a very bright red Percy holding a very bright red faced girl. She was wearing shorts, an orange shirt, her curly blonde hair in a very messy pony tail and her startling grey eyes shone with embarrassment. Percy looked quite messy too, his hair was all over the place, (more over the place than usual) an his sea green eyes shone with embarrassment as well.
Noah sat back down trying to stifle a laugh while Sally called back Paul and introduced us to the new girl
"Everyone, you know Percy, this is his girlfriend Annabeth Chase. She will also be starting at Goode next term"
We all got up and introduced our selves, once we were done Annabeth joined in on dinner while Percy went into the living room
"Why were you laughing Sally?" I asked. She still hadn't told us what was so funny
She looked over at Annabeth who immediately had gone red
"Noah walked in on Percy and Annabeths little make out session"
We all burst into laughter while Annabeth shrank back into her seat. Once we calmed down she told us "I didn't want to meet my new teachers like this" at this we laughed harder
And that is how I meet Percabeth
Oh my gods guys! I'm sooooooo sorry for updating after the shoutout like I was meant too! School started two days ago, I had to help out with the new year 7's on their first day because I'm a leader, and then it officially started yesterday. Got to get back into the school routine after an 8 week summer holiday! Updates will come at once a week now because of school, I'll try and update as much as I can! Thanks for reading!
