12 year old Percy was walking down the street with his best friend, next to Grover, Annabeth. The street side was lined with trees, and grass covering everything not covered in concrete. They reached a crosswalk and started to cross. Of course Percy didn't look both ways. They were just talking. Annabeth was teasing him about being slow and ran ahead of him. Percy ran to catch up with her. Only then did he notice the car barreling down the street.He ran and pushed her out of the way effectively getting hit himself. He blacked out.
Three weeks later
Percy woke up in an unknown room, with his mom and an unknown girl sitting at the window, they were whispering about something.Percy sat up. The blond haired girl looked up when she heard the noise.
"Percy?" she whispered, "Percy!" she ran over and tackled him in a hug. He sat there unsure of what to do.
"Um..." he started out nervously, "I don't know who you are..."
