Lady Talk: Part I

It is midnight and the rain comes down hard, as a black mustang convertible with a red stripe in the middle drives through a highway. Inside the car, Tiffany and Kenya are on the back seats, while Storm drives the car.

"You know? One of you could've sit right up front with me. I don't mind a little company, but I do mind someone changing my radio stations, you know? Sometimes I just want to hear the entire song and someone changes it." Storm says, looking at the two women through the top mirror.

"Where are we going?" Kenya says, looking through the windows, paranoid at the thought of someone or something dangerous following her.

"You will see soon enough." Storm says, driving at 80 miles per hour, through the wet deserted road.

"How did you know the gun didn't have any bullets?" Tiffany asks.

"Have you looked at yourself in a mirror lately? You're a beautiful girl, don't get me wrong, but kind of weak compared to me. You were holding the gun with one hand." Storm says.

"So? And I'm not weak, Storm. Tiffany says, confused at her logic.

"If you put bullets into the gun, it weighs more, meaning that you would've hold it with two hands, instead of one." Storm says.

"Are you kidding me? That's how you knew? How did you know it was going to happen? How did you know Kenya was coming for me?" Tiffany asks, already angry at the lack of responses from Storm.

"Hey, it turns out, I was right. I knew Kenya wasn't going to kill you. You've been best friends since forever." Storm says.

"And how the fuck do you know all of this? Tell me? Tell us? I'm tired of this bullshit. I'm going to die in a couple of hours and you still haven't told me shit. How are you going to save me?" Kenya says, mad at the way Storm seems to be calm, like if it was just a regular day for her.

"Calm down. That monster that wants to kill you can only do so if he finds you." Storm says, forcing Tiffany to roll her eyes.

"With this again. Kenya, you can tell me the truth. I want to help you, trust me." Tiffany says, not willing to believe such nonsense.

"I'm fucking telling you the truth? Why the fuck would I lie to you? You think I would kill you if some person said I had to kill you? Tiffany, please, believe what I'm saying. Just trust me, okay?" Kenya says, finally snapping at Tiffany.

"Okay." Tiffany says, yet still skeptical.

"You both need to chill. We're almost there. This is kind of difficult to ask, but it's the only way I can save your life. Kenya... are you willing to sacrifice your whole life, body, and memories to save your own life?" Storm says, looking at Kenya's brown eyes through the top mirror.

Kenya must answer Yes or No.
