True?
It's a lie
At least that's what they all say
Dreams will die
Fears will live
Today will be the same as yesterday.
But that's not always true,
Sometimes you come across a day
Where things just aren't the same.
The people are different, the colors are different, and sometimes maybe the trees.
But mostly the days are the same
The constant nagging of worry,
The little voice that says you're no good
Scared to give your opinion because of what people might think.
Sometimes I know I should and I don't
But other times I do and it just makes it worse.
It's not as simple as just not listening
There's always that worry, always that voice, always the fear of screwing up.
So just put on a smile and pretend I'm ok,
That way I don't have to explain.
