Jay's POV

I ran threw the door of the castle's stable and slammed it hard, then threw myself on that pile of hay covered with a blanket where I usually sleep.

I hugged my knees and started crying harder, letting all of the tears I tried holding stream down my face.

What have I ever done to him?
It's not my fault that I lived my whole life here!

I'm not that bad, am I?

*Knock!* *Knock!* *Knock!*

"Hey blue boy, ya here?"

Uncle Keith..

The door opened and the fat black man entered, his blond head covered with his cotton hat, a straw in his mouth.

I wiped my eyes in the sleeve of my dirty white shirt.

"Hey uncle Keith.."

"They were asking: How is the black horse?"

"Its leg is pretty much fine, he walks on it from a time to another. I fed him well this morning."

"Good."

"Oh, and we need some more hay.." I added.

"Then I'll be getting some later." He said, turning around.

"Uncle.." I called for him.

"Yes son?"
I've always loved it when he calls me son. Makes me feel a bit more loved, you know.

"What's wrong with me?"

"There is nothing wrong with you, blue boy.." He came to me and bent to my level, a confused look on his face.
"You're one great funny smart boy." He ruffled my hair, which made me smile. "Don't listen to whoever says anything other than that."

Uncle Keith stood and walked out of the stable.

"I hope that's what Nya thinks.." I mumbled to myself, before I burried my face in my knees, still sobbing.

Then I heared the door opening again and someone stepping inside.

"Nya!"

She jumped next to me on the hay. "Missed you, blue boy."

"Why are you here?" I questioned, turning my head to the other side.

"What?"

"Why did you come here? Why do you want to be with such a useless pathetic clown who-"

"Kai told you that?!"

"No.. It's only the truth."

I heard her sigh. "No, it's not, Jay. Please, don't you ever say such things about yourself, ever."

A faint smile formed on my lips.

"Do you still have work for the day?" She spoke again.

"I have a few hours until they need me in the castle today."

"Then let's go!"

She got up and pulled me by the wrist after her.

"Are we.."

"Yes."

"Woho!!"

20 minutes later..

We walked together in that tunnel until we reached an underground room, the crab-like symbols everywhere.

"So where is the suit?"

A few hours later..

I threw my wrench away, then Nya attached the leg we've been working on to the suit.

Yes! We finally finished the suit!

"We did some pretty good job here."

"Put it on!"

"Alright then.."

Nya put the armor on, then the samurai helmet that hid her face.
She picked up a sword, and started moving it and swinging it around.

She ran towards a box and quickly carved the crab and the x symbol on it.

Wow. She's fast.

She took her helmet off.

"I can move so easily in it! It's perfect!" She paused. "Don't tell anyone about that!"

"You know I'll never do that."

Come on, Jay, think of something!

Hehe. I got an terrible one.

"Nya?"

"Yeah?"

"If you're Samurai X, then who's the Samurai O?"

She started laughing under her breath. "Jay, that was horrible."

"I know."

"But you still made me laugh somehow."

"It's the charm, baby." I bragged jockingly, pretended to flip my hair like girls do.

40 minutes later

I slowly snook to the stable, making sure none of the guards spot me.

As I went in, I saw uncle Keith waiting for me.

"That girl again?"

"Yeah." I said dreamily.

I threw myself on a pile of hay.

"The ceremony is starting in an hour. Go get in your costume."

I sighed.

I think I need some new face paint too.
