A bad dream

She sat on the floor crying. She had blood on her hands, clothes all over her. He was lying dead in her lap. Two gun shoots in the stomach. He lost blood fast and died fast. He died before she had the chance to tell him. And now he was gone forever. She would never be able to tell him that she loves him, thank him for everything he had done.

She woke up crying. She grabbed her phone and called Tony. "Ziva it is 2 am." "I know" she sobbed. "Can you come over." "I will be there in 10 minutes." He hung up. She stayed in the bed and cried. She heard a knock on her door and she got up to open. "Tony" she hugged him tight and didn't say something for over 5 minutes. "Um Ziva, can we go in and you can tell me what happened." She let him in and they sat down on her couch. "Tell me why you are crying." He pulled her close and rubbed her back. "I had a nightmare about you. You died." She said and cried even harder. "Shh it was a bad dream. I am fine. Nothing will happen to me. I am here, it will be alright." She looked up at him and tried to smile. She looked terrible. It is middle of the night and her hair was messy and her eyes was red and swollen after all crying. "Ziva why don't you go back to sleep?" "No I don't want to leave you. I will get another nightmare." "I will not leave you. I can lay next to you if you want." She nodded. He lifted her into her bedroom and put her down on her bed. He laid down next to her. She snuggled up really close and rested her head on his chest. "Can you hold me?" He nodded and wrapped his arms around her. "Sleep now. I will not go anywhere sweet cheeks." He kissed her forehead. After a long time she finally fell asleep. Tony had struggled to stay awake until she fell asleep.

Ziva woke up with Tony's arms around her. She crawled closer to him and nuzzled her head into his neck. Tony woke up and looked at Ziva. He ran his fingers through her hair as she opens her eyes and smiles. "Morning beautiful" he said and smiled. He called her beautiful, it made her giggle. "Morning." "Did you sleep well? No nightmares?" "I am always sleeping well when you are next to me." She said without thinking. She looked down and started to blush. "My ninja is a bit red" he laughed and kissed her cheek. "Why did the dream make you so sad last night?" "You died." "Yeah so what..." "So what?!" She sat up and looked at him. "I cried because I didn't want to lose you. I love you." She had finally said it. Tony was lying there kinda of shocked. Then after a while he sat up next to her. "I love you to Ziva David." He pulled her into a kiss. She put her arms around his neck and kissed him back.
