Lucy's POV
"Lucy! Are you almost ready?" My mom asked me screaming up the stairs.
"Almost!" I shout back.
I've dreamed moving all my life. I've been in the same house all 13 years of my life. My family is moving from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. I would have preferred moving to a different house in the same area. But moving to a different stat?! That isn't my cup of tea.
This may be a good thing. I get to start over. I'm basically a loser... I didn't really have any friends in Philadelphia. Maybe this move will be good for me.
"Lucy come on! The movers are here!" my mom shouted
"Okay!" A said as I grabbed my bags and headed downstairs.
The movers were starting to get the rest of the furniture out if the house. My dad comes inside the house and grabs my bags and puts them in the car.
I take my seat in the car next to my 4 year old sister, Sara. what fun. I take one last look at the house as tears fill my eyes. I plug in my earbuds as we start to drive away.
