Facing the World

Chapter 5

Ah!The beautiful morning sun shine, and the melody of birds singing, It feels like a brand new day. Today is the day when the mission to Mumbai city takes its first step out of our dreams and into action.

For some reason waking up early today seemed like a daily routine. I for the first time woke up before Disha did. But couldn't be bothered to leave my bedroom. As I looked around the room feeling the soft breeze blowing my hair, I suddenly realised that I wasn't in my bed but on the sofa. Those two annoying city brats have taken my beautiful bed and are sleeping like princesses.

Disha quietly woke up and whispered into my ear, "They are here for only a few days, so don't get to annoyed"

Funny how Disha is able to tell what I was thinking just by looking at my face.

"So how shall we start to transform them? I don't think it'll be possible to start with the mission before 10am".

Disha started smiling and wondering how this was going to work out.

"Well firstly we need to wake them up early and get them dressed up so we could all go shopping".

"Wow!Our Disha has finally got the genius evil brains to think like me,hmm I really like your plan and it commerce's now!". I quickly jumped out of bed and started to pull Sharon and Diya's blankets.

"Ah!STOP IT!", The Both screamed.

"Sorry no can do! You girls better get out of bed quick before Hitler Dahdi comes and yells at all of us".

The girls seemed too tired to even bother listening to what I was saying.So I jumped on the bed and started to tickle both of them in order to shock them.

"OMG!Would you stop with the tickling", Sharon suddenly got up and looked really angry. Diya on the other hand was smiling and reminded me of a puppy.

"Fine we are awake. Now can you leave us in peace", Sharon got out of bed and massaged her neck. She seemed like she wasn't able to sleep properly.

"Can't leave now. Hurry and get dressed", I grabbed her hand to drag her out the room.

"Oh please, It's not like Dahdi is going to hit us or anything. Right?",Sharon looked startled.

Disha couldn't help but smile and help out Sharon.

"Don't worry Sharon, she's just being silly. Please get your clothes ready and take a shower quickly before the bathrooms get full. We are going out today".

Diya,who was half dozed off in her sleep, woke up with a surprised look on her face.

"Really!?Are we going out today? Is it for shopping?"

Sharon quickly looked towards Diya and showed her laser beaming eyes.

"Oh don't be silly Diya, what's in here to shop for? Cow skin? Or the salwar suits, or whatever they wear is called?"

Diya started laughing knowing that anything her sister said was always right. But I couldn't help but destroy their lovely dreams and hopes.

"Sorry girls but shopping here is not that bad, plus Dahdi has requested that you guys better recover from your sad robbery and wear some descent clothes, If you know what I mean"

And with those words, I decided the conversation here had to end and I gathered my clothes and exited out the room, grabbing Disha along with me.
