Sometimes I wish I was a double,
So I can be your friend and your lover,
As friends it'll be less pain,
But as lovers, we'll have more gains.

Sometimes I wish I was a double,
So I could tell you the truth
and hide away,
As a friend i'll say,
"you look foolish, why would
you think you could do this?"
But as a lover i'll say,
"we just need to learn to trust,
why make a fuss? we'll make a way,
even if it leaves us in dust."

Sometimes I wish I was a double,
So I could listen to your pain,
and also kiss it away.
