Arion stood in his grandpa's room, Edward, completely shocked at the turn of events which had happened. Arion had tested Edwards Cerebral Vortex, a sort of loop-hole time machine. The device allows you to relive a memory from their past. Normal time travel rules still apply, so should anyone do anything drastic...it could influence the future.

Arion was testing the device, revisiting a day at a theme park...but instead he wound up in a middle-ages village. After a brief look around he ended up saying a girl called Alicia from the evil knight called Drayden. Shortly after Arion was due to go home and bidding farewell went to the present.

Upon arriving to the present, Arion told his Grandpa of his encounter with Alicia...but Edward looked gobsmacked. Then to add to it, Arion answered a door to a girl stood before him. A girl who bore a striking resemblance to him. Because this girl was his twin sister...Ariana.  As Arion turned to his Grandpa...

"Grandpa...what's going on?"

"My boy...you travelled to the town of Southacre. Over six hundred years ago. And as a result...you have changed time"

Arion was just dazed "I...I did...what!? I...travelled to the past? And changed history!?"

"I find it hard to believe myself" said Edward also in disbelief "but how else do you explain Ariana? At first I too thought it was a prank, but even as we speak, memories of me with Ariana are flooding into my brain"

"The same with me" said Arion skimming through his new memories "Me and Ariana have a pretty good relationship, and she knows about my fear. But it's strange...it's hard but I still remember life without her"

"As of now, Time is doing its best to catch up with this world's events. Slowly we won't remember the other time-line altogether"

Arion then turned the glove on his wrist "but Grandpa, wouldn't the birth of a new person ruin the timeline? I mean I'm surprised the glove didn't register any damage"

"Time is a very complex thing my boy" said Edward "I only programmed the glove to detect damage you could cause. Damage includes the early deaths of people, world-wars, changing laws...but it appears the birth of your twin...has caused no such damage"

"But...what did I do?"

"You saved Alicia" Edward began typing on his computer "while you were acting in kind...what you did actually changed history"

Edward tapped a last key "look upon the screen" on the screen were three images. One looked like an aerial picture of Southacre, although it was a modern one and the town was deserted. The second was a painted picture of a knight. It was somewhat fuzzy but Arion could make the knights blonde hair. The third was again a painting of a radiant looking girl.

The girl was wearing a long white and black dress, down to her feet. She had tidy silver hair, with two neatly brushed bangs, tendrils, of hair going down her face. Around her neck hung a brass looking circle pendant. Arion recognised the girl "that's...Alicia"

"Alicia is a princess of the Southacre family, born during the 1500's" said Edward typing again on his keyboard "She was well known for her kind heart but also known for her cruel set of circumstances" the sound of whirring alerted Arion to see the same metal arms from before. They flexed themselves before going into the vast library of artefacts

.

Edward then turned to Arion "I have one of her diaries. She would write her adventures and day-to-day events. And this has allowed historians to get a general picture. Alicia's father, the king, was a fair but strict leader. He also kept Alicia castle-bound. Alicia grew bored of her life within the castle and often walks out around the town"
