Author's note: This is not the end of this book. That is simply the title of this particular poem.

In all of it's essence
It is but a sentence
But that sentence is death
That sentence brings last breath

What is affected?
All are subjected
To be affected by The End
There is not one it shall not expend

The book has it's last word
The person has their last beat heard
The bird has it's last song sung
And the prisoner by his neck hung

All time shall end
The universe it's last bend
Existence shall be not
And all shall be for naught

Yet for now we live
And our all we give
Yet all we tend
Will meet The End
