So cryed the fallen,
“Why, why must I fall in?”
As he fell
Directly to hell

It was as he fell that his wings began to smolder
He screamed in pain as they burned upon his shoulder
The feathers that were not consumed
Lost all the color they once illumed

Black and burnt were his wings
And they had become useless things
As he laid where he fell
Down deep in the pits of hell
He broke all apart
For he had lost his most useful part

He pulled himself up from where he lay
As he had been hurt to his dismay
He could no longer fly
Nor could he die
He could not walk or stand
He feared the very land
For though he may survive
He would never ever thrive
Not in this place of darkness
Not here in all the starkness

As he would not show his face
To the ground he looked in disgrace
He cryed in sorrow
And he feared for tomorrow
For he had fell
Into this hell
For the sin
He did begin
He had killed
To have his desires fulfilled

He was once an archangel
Now he was a dark angel
