Your darkness is bewitching. I can conceal my broken within the infinite shadows you cast.
Yet, you are also composed of such light. Speckles and spots, patterns of brilliance.
Stars shine brightest when shrouded in darkness.
This is what makes your light so much more impressive and significant. How it manages to reach me, though we are lightyears apart. You glimmer and glow far more than you'll ever know.
I no longer fear the night for I love you, the embodiment of it.
