You encouraged me to be the best, most honest journalist I could be when I get there. You implored me to not be moulded into a self-serving, expedient pawn of the corrupt politicians and corporations.
You always encouraged me to write only the truth.
Even now, when your desire for me has waned, I still do what you want of me.
