So, pretty much we were writing notes back to back. Then the bell rung, which mean the moment of truth. I waked to the lunch...Slowly. I was deftly thinking of backing down but, I want to know who is giving me these gifts. I alright placed my gifts in the back but, the vow ticket. I have no idea why I want to carry it in my pocket but I did. I sighed and paced the empty hallway by the doors of the cafeteria. Nervous, until I seen Asia with a smirk. She walked to me, pushing the door open and grabbed my hand, leading me to the middle of the cafeteria where other teenagers getting there lunch or others claim a table. Then, I looked around after she let go of my hand and I seen no one until, there was a tap on my shoulder I turned around to see...Bruce. He had a blush on his cheeks and he had a shy smile while looking at me then, he pulled out a sign that said which I read out loud
"Would you see the Vow with me, my valentine?"
I couldn't help but to gasp and I said
"It was you...With the hunt."
He ran a hand thru his hair and said with a blush
"Yeah...Did you like it?"
I smiled and said
"I enjoyed it."
Asia said loudly while watching us front and center
"Answer the damn boy, Gwen. If I had popcorn I would throw it at you!!"
I smiled and looked at her then, back at Bruce and I took out the ticket and said
"I would hate to see it by myself?"
He had a huge smile and said
"It's a yes."
I chuckle while nodding my head, he pulled me in to a hug and I can hear an echo of "Awe" around the cafeteria. I pulled back, just to kiss his cheek. He handle me tight and said softly
"Finally, a date with a beautiful and smart girl."
He pulled back and said with a small smile
"You want lunch?"
I said with a small blush
"No, not really."
He shook his head and said
"Its to late for that."
He let go of me and took my hand, he lead me out of the cafeteria. I was wondering where he was taking me. He took me to the field, I said to Bruce
"Awww...Bruce, you don't?"
He chuckled and tighten his hold in my hand gently, he lead me up the stands and said
"I hope you don't mind left over pudding cups and fruit. I was running a bit late to school."
I said while tighten his hand with a gentle squeeze.
"No I don't mind at all. I really think that your so sweet for the gifts, Bruce."
We finally sat down and he smiled while pulling out his i-pod touch, he said while unwrapping the ear buds
"Want music?"
I nodded my head and he gave me one and got the music started. We ate the pudding cups that was hidden along with the bag of grapes, bananas, strawberries, and peaches. I really can't believe how sweet, he is to me...I can't wait to go on the date with him.
So, he walked me to class hand and hand....We both was sporting a smile and people had a smile on there faces too. Bruce gave my had a little squeeze then, said
